Crest 2.5 Gallon CP1200HT Ultrasonic Heated Cleaner

So far I am very happy with this ultrasonic. I have only cleaned brass in it at this time but it came out looking like new after two cycles. The down side is that you have to de-prime the cases first and wait for them to dry. I put mine a cookie sheet in the oven at 200 degrees while I was doing something else. I used isonic brass cleaner which you can get for 16.95 for 32 ozs. because of shipping costs I would buy more then one at a time and I found it cheaper at isonicinc If you buy the ultrasonic make sure you get two drip pans and two lube pans. For this I used ultrasonicsdepot With these being stainless they are kind of pricey. Make sure you buy the size that fits your size ultrasonic. They say you can you the ultrasonic for cleaning guns but I have not tried it yet. I did speak with my local police department and they use one for gun cleaning and say it works great but be careful of the cleaning agent you use. Simple green will etch aluminum and on nickel plated guns if there are any spots where the cleaning solution can get under the nickel it will cause problems.
