6 AAA batteries power this pepper/salt mill.Motor does a good job grinding out my pepper at a fast rate.A little tricky to replace the housing after installing the batteries. It required some realignment and care not to force anything into place. Looks expensive, the housing felt cheap.Works great. Will update in a few months.

I've been using a manual salt/pepper grinder which sometimes gives my hand a hard time. Then, I switched to using a bullet which recently got broken. Then, I stumble into this electric pepper grinder which uses 6AA batteries which I don't really mind as it's really quite powerful. Salt and pepper literally gets milled in seconds. And the amazing part is that, you even have the option to adjust the coarseness of the spices. So easy to use and the big plus for me - easy to wash!

I love the feeling whenever I'm using this electric pepper grinder. Mainly because it makes my life easier and more convenient. Basically, I previously using mortar and pestle to grind black pepper now I save time and conserves my energy for other house chores. It is easy to use, In the beginning, it is a little bit tricky to replace the battery of this device, eventually, I get used to it and it is 100% safer than pounding your pepper using mortar and pestle.
