Didn't work as arrived
The unity did not work as arrived and burned out the bulb so It also had to be replaced. The mfg was contacted, but only offered return authorization with no replacement nor pre-pay for the return. Based upon my experience, I would not recommend the unit nor the company selling the unit.DennyDallas, TXUpdate: I had received several phone calls from a "Canton Trading Company" as per caller ID. These were at awkward times for me around dinner time while I'm cooking or when I was not there, so the phone was not picked up. No messages were ever left on my voicemail, usually indicating a telemarketer. The phone rang about 12:00 pm today, caller ID said; "Canton Trading Company" so I picked it up with expectations that it was a telemarketing company and my intention was requesting to be removed from their telemarketing list. Turns out Canton Trading Company is the person/company selling these units. The bottom line....... he basically was upset that I had posted the problems experienced. He indicated that I should have called to request customer service. OK.. You plug it in, it doesn't work. You plug in in to a completely different fixture and bulb, it doesn't work. I get it, it doesn't work. Two e-mails were also sent out protesting me paying the return postage and the lack of offer for replacement. Neither e-mails were returned. Three weeks later and $23.00 poorer from the return postage, received an e-mail offering replacement or credit. If this had been stated in the beginning, my e-mails returned, there would have been no negative review. Life is not perfect, they just sell the unit and I fully understand that. However the communication is just plain bonkers. Strange deal!! There is an old saying in Sales: We all talk ourselves out of more than we talk ourselves into. They did.DennyDallas, TX

Top of the line Ballast
I used this unit for a year. Never had any problems. Very well constructed. Quiet. Overall very happy with my purchase..
