This swing is so nice and it seems very sturdy, I love it it is the perfect size for 2 or 3 people to sit on ! My grand kids love it too!

Update 2 - Just under 2 years and after wiping it down with a damp cloth, the swing still looks like it's fresh out of the box. Also, no rust on the chains. It does a bit of creaking when we first sit on it, but that's part of the "charm" of a wood porch swing. But then, the creaking could be me - I'm not a young man any more. To be clear, this would be a 5-star review if not for the less-than-perfect paint job. After 2 years, I'm perfectly happy with it! Update - I've had the swing for a little over a year now and other than a heavy coat of pollen, it still looks new. I would definitely purchase the swing again. Was a bit leery of purchasing this swing since I couldn't find it on the actual Vingli.com website. Thought it might be just a rebranded cheap swing. Probably is rebranded, but it is a decent quality swing. Assembly was simple and could be accomplished by one person, but a helper makes attaching the backrest to the seat a lot easier. Both parts are pre-assembled and pretty bulky, making it difficult to keep them aligned while trying to insert bolts. I encountered no problems with hole alignment mentioned in some reviews. Just follow Vingli advice - don't tighten any hardware until the entire swing is assembled. While the paint itself seems to be of decent quality, the paint application is a bit lacking. Less than 100% coverage and drips/running on the front slats of the seat. Most likely they were spray painted after being assembled at the factory. But, neither of these are of much concern to me - didn't even notice until I was finished with assembly and looking it over closely for loose hardware. At this price point, I didn't expect perfection. In truth, my only complaint would be the "gold" colored chains. I have a 9 foot ceiling and the chains are too short. Vingli should offer the option of longer chains. It's easy to find a 1 foot length of matching size chain, but impossible to find a matching color. The chain itself is plenty strong enough (probably way overkill). I can't say anything as too rust - haven't had it long enough and my swing is mostly sheltered from direct rain. For the DIY'ers out there: There are no nails or glue used. The slats are mounted with wood screws, so the swing could be broken down into its basic components then sanded and repainted if you're so inclined. Personally, I think this is a big plus. Overall, I would recommend this swing and even knowing its faults, would buy it again.

Slightly time consuming to assemble but I assembled by myself - hung with a helper! It’s a beautiful swing. Very sturdy, weather resistant, and of course pretty to look at!! Came with chains and no creeks when we swing. It’s a higher quality than reflected in the price in my opinion - great bang for your buck!

Functionality: Very comfortable. Easy to put together. Cheaper than buying wood and stain to make one. Durability: Time will tell. The stain is beautiful, but it could use another coat of clear to seal it. Color: Beautiful dark brown. Hangability: Easy to hang. We’ve adjusted it a couple of times to make it the correct height. Fit: The rounded front of the seat makes it very comfortable.

It’s ok. I would not order it again nor would I suggest it to anyone. It was easy to put together and hang, it looked good when we got it. But when we sat on it, it instantly creaked with my husband’s weight. When we sit on it together you can feel it flexing on you like it’s struggling to hold us both. We’ve had it about a week now and it’s getting more noticeable. It’s rated for 880lbs, my husband is 6’5” 225lbs and I’m 5’4” 155. I can rock comfortably with no problems by myself, as soon as he joins me, we are afraid we are going to fall because the wood will give out. If you are on the smaller side I’m sure it’ll be fine but if you have bigger humans in your family or friend circle that will come over and potentially sit on the swing I would not recommend this at all.

Our VINGLI Patio Wooden Porch Swing is comfortable and of very good value - sturdy, structurally durable, easy to put together, comfortable to swing in and at a great price. It's only shortcoming was the finish; though smooth, it was easily damaged when I used my fingernail to remove the construction stickers attached to the parts. A light sanding and a couple coats of polyurethane resolved that issue, however. Given the other attributes, though, I confidently recommend this swing especially when hung using ballbearing hangers which help it to glide smoothly. A great value!

I will continue to update the review, but right out of the box found some issues. (see pic). Can tell it was on a production line as they didn't bother to ensure the entire swing was coated with varnish. Other than the finnish, it looks pretty good, but will continue once I put it together and try it out.
