In less than 2 months the product logo, which is embossed in the front, has chipped off which should not happen if it's a genuine product. I have 2 more Kipling bags which I am using for over 2 years and except getting dirty, nothing has happened to the bags. Even though my return window was closed, Amazon took it back as an exception.

I purchased this bag because I needed a new travel bag and really liked the size of this bag and that it is a crossbody which I need. I purchased what they are calling 'grey' - it's really more of a taupe and in my opinion I could see that in the picture. It's a good neutral. I usually buy black and I wanted something lighter in color. This was a good choice for me. There are just a ton of zippered compartments and because the bag is matching lighter material inside, you can see to the bottom which for me is important. I am forever 'losing' things in my black bag. Kipling is a good quality brand and I am not disappointed in anyway. The straps are a woven cotton blend material. The bag itself is a really nice nylon blend and repels moisture. Comes with an ape keyring - their trademark item. The zipper is SUPER high quality and opens and closes so very smoothly. The zipper pulls have silicone discs on them to aid in holding on to them. This may not be a super fancy lux brand - but it is super high quality and functional - I'll take the latter any day. Worth every penny. I'm going to go back and look at other colors. Oh, and it's nicely lightweight. 10 stars. My mom loved it! The size was perfect for her ..she being a voracious traveller.

Others sellers have the same item at almost double the price of this one that I bought. Great vibrant Fuschia color and not your common style of a Kipling bag.
