Juiceman vs Black & Decker
This is a comparison between this and the Black and Decker CJ625. Both are made out of plastic so it's hard to say how long they will last. Both are easy to operate. The B & D has a container so that the juice stays inside the juicer until you pour it out. The Juiceman has a spigot which can be opened or closed. The Juiceman MAY have a little bit more oomph. Both have two juicing sizes. The real advantage of the Juiceman is that it is SO much quieter. The Juice man is more vertically designed and the B & D more squat but they both look OK on the counter. Both come apart in the same manner. I vote for the Juiceman. We'll see how it holds up. Added Review: After several uses, I am pleased with the Juiceman. It stays put instead of sliding around because of its extra weight. It has plenty of power and the spigot works well. Very satisfied.

Faulty design.
This is my 2nd time to use it and the juice spout suddently fall apart when I flip up the spout to stop juice. It turns out the juice spout is connected only via a very thin plastic part (please see my photo). The spout on/off design is good. However, if you want people use the feature, you should take the durability of the feature into consideration.edit: the company sent me a replacement after I posted the review. I am adding 2 stars for the customer service.

Barely tolerable.
Sadly, the spout that serves to release the juice into a receptacle doesn't work well. It often dribbles when the juice volume is low, allowing the juice to run down the side of the juicer, missing the receptacle and ending up on the counter. Some juice tends to remain inside the juicer and flow out as one breaks down the juicer if not careful to tip the juicer to release the residual volume. This juicer has some advantages. Firstly, a small reamer for lemons and limes is good but I haven't tried the larger reamer for oranges, much less grapefruit. Secondly, the price was not too high but I sure do wish that I still had the 40 year old Braun juicer that served me so well until I mistakenly juiced too many limes without giving it a rest. It was perfect and served so well, forever sitting on the counter plugged in and thus ready for immediate juicing of a lemon or lime nearly every day.

So far, gets the job done
I love fresh squeezed orange juice, and I wanted something that got more juice out of an orange than the manual juicer I had been using. Also, I liked that this could accomodate (according to the description) grapefruits too. I have used it twice now, three small oranges each time. Some splatter can go outside the range of the machine when you first press the cirtrus half down. For some reason, this machine trips the circuit on the outlet at my kitchen counter; plugging it into a surge protector power strip solved that, so far. This gets the most juice out of a citrus of any other method I've used, especially if you press/squeeze the citrus half against the juicer in different places, using the curve of your palm, until it has completely emptied the half of all juice and pulp. Since other reviews have said that the spout has broken off for them, I am being careful to not even touch it. The pulp that gathers in the top is still visibly juicy, so I pressed the pulp down with my fingertips to try to capture that juice too. Some juice stays in the middle "bowl" piece; you can carefully get that by lifting up the bowl section and allowing it to gather, angle it forward over your cup/glass and pour out the hole/spout. Recommend cleaning all the parts right after your done juicing because they will come clean the easiest at that time. (Harder to clean if the juice and pulp dry on the parts.) I am handwashing. The machine is lightweight, but seems to be sturdy enough for the task. The cord tucks underneath for storage. When using, there is a little slot to put the cord in so that the unit lies flat, but the slot could be better/slightly bigger.

My kitchen Buddy
I use lemon juice , 20 - 30 lemons a week for varies dishes including making tea and lemon water, While it does NOT filter out all the pulp, for my lemon water, I strain it with a stainless steel mesh colander, but for cake or jam, i just leave it as it is.If your looking for full pulp remover, this is not for you at all. When I was hand squeezing I still did the colander, so to me its not an extra step.I love this its a life saver , I had gone through 4 others, that I returned because they were .. obviously not going to be as easy to clean and with this, there is no hidden places for it to mold

Don't steal your sister-in-law's juicer - buy your own!
Love this juicer! Purchased it because I borrowed my SIL's for about 6 months before I finally realized I really needed to just get one of my own. This one has even better features than the older model. Love the fact you can flip up the spout to stop the flow - no more drips on my counter! And having both the small and large reamers is exactly what I need for juicing limes, lemons, oranges, and grapefruit. The reverse rotation means I get every last drop out of the fruit. And it cleans up so easily. You don't have to worry about teeny, tiny holes or getting the mechanism wet because everything lifts straight off the top and goes straight into the sink.

Cheap, makes great juice, and easy to clean.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Overall: It makes great juice, and it's good that the parts are dish washer safe.Pros: Cheap, 2 year-warranty, easy to clean, makes great juice.Cons: Too light weight, so sometimes if the orange gets stuck the machine will move really easily, and the juice will split all over the place if you are not careful. Also, the part where the juice comes out is too short, so sometimes the machine will get dirty when the flow is slow. Also, the machine is too short, so you can't use a juice jar to store more juice, just small glasses/cups.

Genial!
