Be Careful
The figure has been sculpted very well and it is so fun to display it; however, be careful especially if you’re giving this to children. The spiky things are actually pretty solid and will hurt anyone who grabs it without noticing them.

McFarlane Toys continues their development of action figures for the DC Extended Universe by making action figures for Zack Snyder’s Justice League movie. Unlike the previous two DCEU movies which released one or two action figures, this collection is a solid six, with twice the exclusive variants. No Build-A-Figure, but this collection doesn’t need one. This collection continues with the Steppenwolf.Behold Steppenwolf. Having premiered as a cameo in Ultimate Cut of Batman v. Superman Dawn of Justice he got to appear more fully as a character in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. The uncle of the New God Darkseid, he serves his nephew’s will in conquering worlds for the glory of Apocalypse. He is the villain of this story as he searches for the Mother Boxes from the three grand powers of Earth. Standing over 9.5 inches tall with the same articulation as other McFarlane Toys action figures and resembling the character’s appearance from the attack on the Amazons, the Atlanteans, and Humanity, to the final battle.Accessories include the stand and the battleaxe which measures 5.75 inches long. If this collection was Build-A-Figure, I’m sure this would have been the figure for it. While cool, I don’t like the spiky protrusions. And I am glad they didn’t have an unmasked variant; I think that was ugly.

Great figure, a little on the expensive side for what you are getting.
Great looking figure. The price is too high though. Comparing it to some other figures I own, this figure should be worth only $25 and not $39.99. It has very good articulation. It is an excellent representation of Steppenwolf from the film. McFarlane did an outstanding job in capturing his likeness.There us an issue with his arm at the bicep where it doesn't fully attach to his shoulder, kinda sticks out a little leaving a small gap, kind of annoying.It's the best Steppenwolf figure at this scale and next to Darkseid they both look amazing. I have this figure with my Beast Kingdom Justice League movie figures and he fits right in. No need for me to purchase a new line of Justice League figures again.

Great detail
I know nothing about the story of this figure, but he looked epic so I bought him. I am glad I did. It is pretty standard articulation for the Mcfarlane line, which means not great, but I think Mcarlane makes good figures for the price point. This is one of my favorites.
