My wife absolutely loves this set. She is Korean, so she does not drink sake, but we have used the set for both tea and soju. She told me that it takes her back to the "tea parties" of her childhood. we have brought it out for guests on two occasions and received compliments on both. The pieces are all ceramic, and solid. For the price, I expected something a but thinner and of cheaper quality, but I was pleasantly surprised by the heft of each piece. The bamboo board is a nice touch, and it has a small indent where each piece should be set, so it helps keep them in place when moving the tray from room to room.

The set is very attractive and functional. Perfect addition to my sushi dinners.
