Kinivo BTH240 Bluetooth Headphones (Black, On-Ear, Wireless Music, Hands-Free Calling, Built-in Mic, Foldable, Travel Bag)

Great head set that I've been using for years. I just purchased my 3rd set in about ten years. The sound quality and battery life is excellent. I like the foldable behind the head design as it fits perfectly under a bike helmet or a hat. I know these were introduced around 2011 which is about the time I got my first set. I would drive them hard. Biking for hours with sweat pouring over them. Then tossing them into my bag unprotected to be bounced around with my other stuff. This is my third set because they don't last forever, which I wouldn't expect them too. The first set had one ear go out and the second stopped reliably connecting to bluetooth. My wife is on her first pair which might be eight years old but she doesn't use hers often where I'm using my 10-20 hours a week. When my last pair broke I was set on finding something updated as these came out over 10years ago. But I could not find something at this price point that looked like it could deliver a good sound experience. I also wanted this foldable design as I travel a lot and it being compact is important. There just isn't much out there. Things have all trended to earbuds which just don't work for me for reasons (Sound, comfort, fall out of my head-ness, losability). You can pay 4 times as much for something with the word "Beats" on the side of it but you aren't getting any better sound quality. Sound is important to me as I like getting lost in the music. It's notable that when you get them you need to just play music on them for a couple hours to break in the speakers. They first sound a little tinny but that resolves after things start to loosen up.

I ordered these headphones because of the great reviews. I was looking for a good set with wireless and behind the head features. These were a good choice from a reviews/price/features standpoint. I got the headphones in 2 days via Prime. I got all excited and opened them and plugged in the charger and charged them up for about 4 hours. Completely charged, I fired them up. They connected to my Galaxy S3 phone quickly. I started my music player on my phone and the sound was great. Good bass, great highs, clear sound, no wireless hiss. I listened for about 10 minutes and then the headphones died. I couldn't even turn them on. Just totally dead! I went through all the trouble-shooting stuff I could find and I am very technically savvy. I received an e-mail from Kinivo after a couple of days wanting to make sure I was happy with my new headphones. I responded to let them know that I had only had the phones work for about 10 minutes and then they just died. A few days later, they responded letting me know that they were sending a whole new set of headphones and that they should be arriving quickly. Well sure enough, 2 days later, I got a new set of headphones by FedEx Ground. I opened them and charged them per the instructions. They paired with my phone quickly and started playing my music. This time, they worked longer than 10 minutes. After about a week of use, I sent them a message letting them know that the new headphones were working fine and it appeared that they would be OK. After using these headphones for a few weeks now, I have found the following (1-5, 5=Excellent): Ease of use – 5 Design – 5 Comfort – 4 Sound – 5 Durability – 4 Battery Life – 4 Price / Value – 5 Customer Service – 5 I was concerned about how I would sound to someone when using these on the phone. The few folks I spoke with said my conversation was clear and had enough volume. I could also hear them very well and it was nice to be able to walk around and not have to hold a phone to my head. These headphones have great clarity listening to music with ample bass. This is what I was hoping for and not a tinny sound. They also have great volume. The controls are easy to use when on your ears. The ear pads are leather-like and are comfortable on my ears. I wear X-Large hats so have a large head but these headphones are comfortable for a few hours wear. These headphones are also very light. So, in general, I am very happy overall with these headphones. I was giving them a 4.6 out of 5 rating, and because of their customer service responding as they did, I am bumping it up to a 5.

After moving recently I started taking a commuter bus to/from work. I decided to put my bus time to use by listening to audiobooks. It's a nice escape that allows me to get in some stories while still able to appreciate the view outside the window. Initially I was using my iPhone or iPod Nano with corded headphones. The sounds was pretty good, but the cord kept getting in the way. So I started looking for cordless headphones. I prefer behind the neck headphones, but really had a hard time finding a decent selection of them with bluetooth connectivity. Then a few weeks back Amazon was promoting bluetooth headphones and I scrolled down the list to see a few good contenders. This Kinivo BTH240 set was very reasonably priced, was reviewed as having good battery life, and as a bonus they folded up for storage/carrying in a pocket or backpack. Overall I'm pretty pleased with my purchase. The sound quality has been pretty good, and the volume is loud enough that I can hear the dialog from my audiobooks over the sound of the bus while riding inside. There are both coach style buses and city style buses on my route and I'm able to hear over both. If I'm standing outside at the bus stop though the roar of a big diesel engine going by will drown out dialog even at the highest volume setting. I do occasionally get static when I'm downtown as if a stronger signal just temporarily overwhelmed my bluetooth connection and I have to back up 30 seconds on my audiobook to hear what I missed. I'm not sure if that is caused by my iPod Nano, the headphones, or both. But, for the price I paid on these I'm not going to complain too much. I just worry a little bit if I get into a crowded area with a lot of bluetooth users that I might have more problems. Sizing wise I think I'm near the maximum size these headphones will handle. I have a very large noggin, typically wearing 2XL hats, and the headphones hug the back of my neck a bit. I wish there was a bit of adjustment there so I could expand them but the band only flexes out. So anyone with an even larger head might have problems wearing these.

Habe mir die Kinovo BTH240 Bluetooth Kopfhörer für das Training im Fitnessstudio gekauft. Die Verarbeitung ist ganz gut für den Preis. Am meisten bin ich von der Akkulaufzeit beeindruckt. Man kann locker 6-8 2-Stündige Trainings absolvieren ohne das der Akku ausgeht. Habe oft erst nach 3 Wochen wieder den Akku laden müssen. Ich habe aber immer nur mit halber Lautstärke Musik gehört, die meiner Meinung nach laut genug ist. Der Sound ist auch oke. Die Verbindung mit dem Handy funktioniert sehr schnell und man kann es auch ein paar Meter weiter weg hinlegen ohne das die Musik unterbricht. Beim Gang aufs WC während des Trainings wurde die Musik leider unterbrochen, da dies etwas weiter weg war von meinem Handy-Ablageort. Sobald man jedoch in den Sendebereich wieder geht läuft die Musik gleich wieder automatisch weiter. Man muss nur aufpassen, dass man nicht aus Versehen den mittleren Knopf druckt denn dann wird die letzte gewählte Nummer angerufen haha. Alles in allem sehr Empfehlenswert da die Preis-Leistung unglaublich gut ist !! :D

First and foremost, these are the very first bluetooth headphones that I have ever bought myself, let alone ones that go behind your head instead of over the head. I had bought these headphones based on the positive reviews that I had found on Amazon as well as the positive reviews on YouTube. The price appeared to be just about unbeatable for the value you would receive from these headphones. Let me first talk about the positives for these headphones. I am a young man that loves to style my hair with products and thus I have been looking for earphones that would not ruin my hairstyle. These headphones do exactly this.They wrap around the back of the head without ruining my hairstyle and the products in it. Next, the sound quality of the headphones are actually very well for the price you pay for these. I actually began to find some new instruments in my music due to the impressive quality of the sound coming from these headphones. To reiterate this, they are impressive due to the fact that I was not expecting much quality judging from the price of these headphones. The buttons work splendid and are very useful, they allow me to listen to music with my phone in my bag instead of in my pocket which helps a lot especially when you have a fat bulky phone. The way these "hook" onto your ear is very well done and the headphones do not come off easily from daily use. An example of a perfect-use for these would be in the house when you are cooking or if you were eating in the kitchen late at night as you do not have to blast music to disturb other family members. The battery life is also extremely outstanding for the price you pay for. I've literally used these for two weeks without charging it once. These are fantastic. Now let's get a little critical. As I had mentioned above, these are fantastic headphones. However, I had bought these headphones with the intention of using it for the gym. For all of you planning to use these headphones for weightlifting, please read this next section carefully. Firstly, the product may get in the way when laying down on a bench. You most likely have to tilt the back of the headphones downwards towards the neck to avoid resting your head on the headphones when laying down. Next, I workout in a very loud gym. For the noise-cancelling ability of these headphones, you get what you pay for. It is not nearly as good as brand headphones. So keep that in mind if you go to a very loud gym. Now, in addition to that, although the sound quality is crisp, the maximum volume of the headphones is not as high as I need it to be for the gym. Mid-volumed headphones combined with minimal noise-cancelling makes these headphone unideal for a loud gym. Lastly, for the durability of these headphones, you also get what you pay for. They will break easily if uncared for. They are not sweat-proof so if you are a sweaty athlete, expect to be wiping these down a lot. To add on to this, if your gym does not contain adequate AC, expect these headphones to increase the amount of sweat that you will be producing. I am not saying that the headphones heat up; instead they do not provide ventilation for your ears to breathe. I am still giving these headphones a 5-star rating, why? The company does not advertise or promote these headphones for physical activity. It would be wrong for me to give poor ratings for using these headphones for a purpose of my own that did not go well. I am very well-aware that the headphones perform exactly as advertised. I have put these headphones through an extended test of my own in the gym and although the results were unfavourable, the headphones still performed as mentioned. With the right adjustments in my purpose of using these headphones, all is well. Well done Kinivo. Five stars for you.

Sono molto contento di queste cuffie.prima usavo degli auricolari,sempre bluetooth,ottimi a dire il vero,ma le mie piccole e contorte orecchie dopo un po' ne soffrivano.ho quindi optato per queste cuffie visto che quelle di spugna non mi sono mai piaciute e mi provocano prurito.all'inizio sembravano poco robuste ed appena indossate avevo paura che mi dessero fastidio dove si appoggiano sull'orecchio.niente di tutto questo,solide e per niente fastidiose hanno un ottimo suono(i puristi vadano pure a spendere oltre 200 € per delle cuffie...),si connettono facilmente a smartphone e PC e la batteria..non sono riuscito ad esaurirla.sono stato fuori(amo passeggiare e vivo in campagna)pomeriggi interi,senza problemi.le ho usate anche in casa per ascoltare musica e vedere la TV per non sentire il mio vicino che sta rifacendo casa e dopo molte ore non si sono scaricate.chiaramente non adatte per stare a letto visto che il sostegno sta sulla parte posteriore del collo e da fastidio col cuscino.per questa fascia di prezzo davvero un buon prodotto che risponde bene alle mie esigenze.unico neo,ma niente di grave,il gommino che protegge l'ingresso della micro USB,si apre con difficoltà ed io mi aiuto con uno stecchino,facendo una lievissima pressione per non sciuparlo.magari col caldo estivo possono causare sudore poiché coprono tutto l'orecchio ma non ho avuto particolari problemi perché non stringono e passa sempre un po' d'aria.ripiegate occupano davvero poco spazio.mi sono procurato una custodia rigida per trasportarle nello zainetto per evitare che si rompano quando non le uso.molto soddisfatto e come sempre Amazon preciso come un orologio svizzero nella spedizione.

Very Good headphones. I was searching for the headphones after my Seinhesser ear phone stopped working. This time I thought of buying a wireless headphones, after searching a lot I realized there were no good wireless headphones in my budget (around 2K, I was looking mostly for well known brands). Then I came across this, I thought of giving it a try, and am really happy I chose this headphones. The biggest plus point for this headphone is comfort, you use it 2/3 hrs continuously and still you wont feel any pain. The sound is good enough. Mike does its work, you can use it for casual interactions. It looks pretty good. Its smart (will turn off automatically if not in use for 5 mins) In short For 1499 its a steal. I forgot to mention abt. battery, I use these headphones mostly during travel, 2 hrs a day , using it for a week now still its not discharged.
