Maple Hardwood Standing Lectern in Medium Oak Finish, 43 Inch

The lectern is nice in appearance, and seems well-manufactured. The attachments for the three legs consist of an upper dowel and a lower stud- bolt. The dowel is not glued into the upright (although it could be, if desired), so it's just a loose, locating piece. As with the dowel pins, the stud-bolts are already installed in the legs, and are inserted into the hollow "barrel" at the bottom of the lectern's upright post. It's very tricky getting the washer and nut onto the stud, and progressively more so for the second and third studs. The tiny "wrench" that is included for tightening the nuts is marginal, and it's difficult getting enough rotation of the nuts to engage the wrench on the next "flat". The inside of the "barrel" just doesn't give much room to maneuver the hardware. Find someone with really small fingers to do the assembling! It would be a nice touch if the angle of the lectern's head was made adjustable, but the fixed angle seems OK.
