Great gift
Got it as a present for my niece. Easy to learn and helps her focus. Good to have some quality time with the youngsters

Good fun & doesn’t take hours to play.
This game is ideal for those either familiar with full version of game, or wish to play a quicker game. Suitable for younger players as not quite so involved, but still just as fun.

Good game, confusing at first but once played, quickly makes sense
Be warned - this is an expansion game and you must purchase the base game - Ticket to Ride Europe or the original Ticket to Ride first. I try to buy a new family game each Christmas and had seen Ticket to Ride in Hamleys and read the reviews on Amazon. I thought that the game might require an interest in rail travel but it no more needs an interest in rail travel than Monopoly needs an interest in property development. Like Monopoly, you get points by collecting cards on each turn which allow you to capture train routes across Europe with bonus points for those with the longest route or those between specific destinations. The game kept our family of 7 involved for a 2-3h but the game doesn't involve any "big laughs" in the way that games like Articulate do.Be warned that of the many versions, most are extensions and that you have to purchase one of the base games first - of which this is one.Overall, a great alternative to Monopoly if you don't like the money aspect of that game, but expensive for what it is

Great Expansion Pack
This adds some layers of complexity that make the game very interesting.Takes about 5 minutes to learn- easier if you play a quick trial game.Locomotive cards or ‘Specials’ are key in this game. One key point is that on every build move you need to check not only if you have the right coloured cards but also the right permit cards. A couple of times you forget.Overall great game - the only thing you need from the original are the train pieces.

Fab game for kids and adults
This was bought for my 8yo for Christmas and it's proved a hit all round! I had seen it advertised but wasn't sure but it's a good game of strategy. My 8 yo likes strategy games like chess, Battleships, Cluedo and this is along those strategy lines. The more people playing, the longer the game goes on but it's still fun with 2.In the past as a family, we used to play and love 'Journey Through Europe' and it's on a similar theme to that. The first time we played, the purchaser had already played the adult version so we had a help learning the rules but I don't think it'd be that hard to pick up normally. Once you start playing it makes or sense.

Superb expansion for Ticket to Ride
Great expansion to the base game. Interesting new mechanics, which change the game slightly and require new strategies. Great for fans of the game, definitely recommending it. As always, beautifully made, the map and cards are fantastic, we love it. Just a note, the game time seems longer for United Kingdom map, so take this into account before starting.

Easy to learn and quick to play
This is a smaller scale and quicker-to-play version of the original Ticket to Ride. The box arrived in very good condition. I was happy with my purchase. If you have TTR:Europe but not enough time available then you might enjoy this as a filler.

Great to play with the kids
This is such a great game to play with family - even my kids got the hang of it and enjoyed it. I love the ‘express’ versions of game. It’s fun to play without taking too long and losing the attention span of the kids. I will definitely be purchasing more of the games in this series.

Great expansion!
We love the original Ticket to Ride and bought this as another option to change it up a little bit here and there. This one is a lot of fun and the terrain cards add another challenging dimension!*Note: This is actually an EXPANSION, and not a stand-alone game. You do need the colored train cards, trains and score markers from the original Ticket to Ride to play.

Great game for the younger crowd
My 4 year old really wanted to play our ticket to ride fame but obviously it would be too hard. We bought his this version for Christmas and while it is still a but tricky for him, I think he will pick it up quickly.Pieces are sturdy and well made.Game is easy enough for 5 years and up.
