I was stunned because I love Schmetz needles. I purchased a new cylinder industrial and bought this pack of DPx17 needles to use in my new machine. But they are slightly shorter than other brand needles. That matters. If the needle doesn't go far enough into the machine, it won't pick up the bobbin thread. Bizarre, but every size in this assortment pack is slightly shorter. I waited too long to open and use them so I can't return them now. VERY disappointed.

Exactly what I needed. Great price for industrial machine needles. I would strongly recommend a better packaging as 2 of my needles fell out of their spaces. Luckily they weren’t damaged and no one got poked.

I don't know whether it was these needles, or some other tweaks I made to my machine, but I just sailed through a tough project, with very thick plastic type material. I used the #18 needle with V92 thread. Great results. Thread broke twice during the project, but it likely wasn't the fault of the needle.

These only work on a home sewing machine, not commercial as listed. When I asked for needles for my Consew these are what came up, so I ordered. They will work on my other machines not the one I ordered them for. Good price and work great otherwise. Just know they DO NOT work on a Consew machine.
