Easy placement. Excellent screen. Game changer. I tried different versions of a screen extension for my 14” Dell work laptop, and returned everyone of them except this one. This is perfect. It snaps on tightly, gives is the perfect amount of support. The fact that is swivels 180 and then also collapses into the back of the laptop screen (top of laptop) makes it easy to carry from the office to a meeting room. It connects seamlessly with the USB-C connector provided and has an excellent image quality.

This monitor is a game changer for those of us who depend heavily on a second monitor for work! It allows for increased productivity in situations where a second detached monitor isn’t an option. I am now able to use two monitors when traveling, working in my parked car during my kiddos’ sports practices, and even when typing away sitting up in my bed at night. The monitor is very easy to set up and you hardly know it is attached to your laptop when not in use and folded behind your primary laptop screen. Similarly, the attachment is not noticeable when packing up your machine and putting into a laptop bag or backpack. I was hesitant to make the purchase at first because the second monitor (separate unit) I connected to previously had a very large screen. (I am 50-something and my eyesight isn’t what it used to be!) I have no problem at all viewing my data files with this smaller size monitor. The resolution is perfect for me. If you use more than one laptop (i.e., one for work and another for personal use), you can purchase a second plate to attach to the back of the other laptop and easily switch the monitor from one laptop to the other. This item is definitely worth the investment! (A close friend of mine found a similar product for less money and it wasn’t anywhere close in quality so she ended up replacing it with this one.) This item’s shipping to delivery time is a bit longer than what we’re used to with Prime delivery one day / two day arrival but again, it is absolutely worth the wait.

Another Update!: Has stopped working completely. Sounds like this is a common problem looking at how many other 1-star ratings they have that say the same thing! Backlight shows when USB-C (power cable only it seems) is plugged in, but nothing happens when the included HDMI-to-mini-HDMI cable is plugged into any source. Have tried two separate computers, both with history of working with this and other external monitors, and Android tablet, to no avail. Called customer service line and got voicemail after many rings, saying they are receiving a high number of calls. I wonder why! Sent email as customer service has suggested. No response in 48 hours via email. UPDATE: Change to 3 Stars! :After installing and finding out the issue with the cables, I looked for an alternate product before returning. There are none that have the build quality. So I have decided to keep it. It is still inconvenient that this requires BOTH my Gen 1 USB-C port to power, and the HDMI port to view. But it is more solidly attached and stays in place (and is more flexible on viewing angles) than anything else I have found. Original: Only after it arrived and I opened the manual did I find out why this was not working just like my last screen. This does not work with any other USB-C port except the absolute most recent version, USB-C 3.1 Gen 2! My previous extended screen (Duex Plus by Mobile Pixels) worked just fine with my USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 port. Unfortunately the construction on that unit is a bit flimsier and I broke an important part very shortly after starting to use. This looked like (and still feels like) a more robust design. BUT it requires the use of BOTH the USB-C port and the HDMI port to operate with my newer (less than a year) Windows 11 laptop (because as was FALSELY ADVERTISED, the HDMI port cannot generate power for the unit. It requires both ports to work. SO sending it back. And pissed about the waste of time and resources that would have been skipped if the manufacturer/reseller would have just been honest in the advertising.

Woe, this thing is next level! Researched these and contemplated for a couple months but I am so glad I paid a little more and bought this one vs the $125 sliding one. It's sleek, light weight, and the dark grey matches my Moon grey 16in Mac better than I expected. People at the office keep asking what it is and commenting on it being "sick." Weird as it sounds, but this little investment made working FEEL better. I'm in Sales and it's boosted my productivity tremendously. While I'm dialing or one screen is loading, I'm working and sending emails on the other screen. You won't believe how light weight it is, screen looks crisp, and is very very cool. Actually proud of myself for buying this. I recommend buying a $12, 1ft 6in USBC-USBC cable here on Amazon. There's only one that size and it is the perfect length. When mounting, it looks much better mounted so the top is flush with the top of your laptop screen. You will not be disappointed.

This worked great for me to use in travel situations but it was not sturdy enough for every day use. The USBC cord it comes with broke apart after a while and now the USBC port is not accepting new cords so the screen won’t turn on. Have to purchase a new one.

I purchased the 14" Swivel in August 2022, not knowing what to expect really and I must say it's the best money I've ever spent. The utility it provides is priceless.

It works for a few weeks, and then it stops. I tried 3 times!!!!

Update: I ended up talking to their customer service directly, and they sent me replacement magnets and adhesives free of charge. Since then I have had absolutely zero issues. And I use these constantly, removing it from my laptop and moving it around with absolutely no problem with the adhesive. I absolutely adore this screen. I have given so many demonstrations of it to strangers who approach me to ask - I often joke that I should be making a commission at this point! After using this for quite some time, I recently had to replace the cord. Unfortunately I could find any replacements sold by Side Trak that ship to Canada, so I went 3rd party. But after years of rough use, I am happy that that has been the only replacement needed! This screen has been incredibly useful for schoola don't research on the go. I recommend it to literally everyone. I actually feel awful that I forgot to update my 1 star review for so long, but I hope people find my update to be useful. Original review (1 star): The screen has literally fallen off about 5 times. I missed the return window because I kept thinking maybe if I bought better adhesive for it than what it came with it would work. Nope, still doesn't work. I have used the spare metal plate it came with, replaced the adhesive tape twice (after thoroughly cleaning both the laptop and the metal plate with acetone and letting them dry). I just attached the screen last night with heavy duty 3m metal adhesive, about 24 hours later it has fallen off. I haven't been removing the screen from the metal plate, I haven't even travelled with it since yesterday. Sure the screen looks great. It's not functional. It will NOT stay attached to your laptop. Don't miss the return window like I did.

The portable screen works perfectly. Very easy to install and the quality of the picture is great. Highly recommend
