Perfect fit for a Savage Mark II FV .22 bolt action (size small)
I bought this to increase the LOP for my Savage Mark II FV .22 bolt action. I took the plastic butt plate off before installing the recoil pad (size small), the fit is perfect, and it increased the LOP by just over .25". If the butt plate was left on, it would increase the LOP by a little over .5". For my rifle, no modification was needed, it fits snug and right up against the sling/bipod stud, like it was made for this rifle. I imagine the fit would be similar for most standard polymer straight stocks. Can't comment on its ability to effectively reduce recoil, but it feels very similar to the excellent recoil pad on my CVA Scout. Seems to be a good product for a good price. Probably no need to spend more $$ on the 'other' brand.

Good fit on multiple systems and much easier on the shoulder
I ordered the small size for my Mosin-Nagant M38 (7.62x54R) and it fits very well. It also fits nicely my Tikka 12-70 (12 ga) which has a larger shoulder stock. Since it’s rubbery it just stretches a little. This does an excellent job taking the edge off of the recoil. I found those two quite rough on the shoulder, but this pad made them much more shootable. Also it’s very easy to put on and take off. For some reason amazon said my review doesn’t meet community guidelines. I have no idea why, so I’m trying without the pictures. Please tell me what guidelines I’ve violated!

Effective Recoil Reduction for Enhanced Shooting Comfort
The Allen Company Recoil Eraser is a recoil-reducing pad designed to enhance shooting comfort by minimizing the impact of recoil. Whether you're an avid hunter or a target shooter, this pad offers a practical solution to help reduce the discomfort and fatigue often associated with heavy recoil. One of the standout features of the Allen Company Recoil Eraser is its effectiveness in reducing recoil. The pad is made from high-quality materials and incorporates a gel-filled design that helps absorb and disperse the energy generated by recoil. This results in a noticeable reduction in felt recoil, allowing for more enjoyable and comfortable shooting sessions. The recoil pad is easy to install and fits most rifles and shotguns with a standard buttstock. The slip-on design ensures a secure fit, and the pad stays firmly in place during use. This convenience is especially beneficial for shooters who frequently switch between firearms or need to adjust their shooting setup quickly. In addition to its recoil-reducing capabilities, the Allen Company Recoil Eraser also provides a cushioned and comfortable shooting experience. The gel-filled pad molds to the shape of the shoulder, distributing pressure evenly and reducing the risk of soreness or bruising. This is particularly beneficial for shooters who engage in prolonged shooting sessions or who have shoulder sensitivity. The recoil pad is also designed to be durable and long-lasting. The high-quality materials used in its construction ensure that it can withstand the rigors of regular use and provide reliable recoil reduction over time. It is resistant to wear and tear, maintaining its performance even after extended periods of shooting. One aspect to consider is the size of the recoil pad. While it provides adequate coverage for most shooters, individuals with larger frames or longer arms may find that the pad doesn't cover the entire shoulder area. It is advisable to take measurements and compare them to the dimensions of the recoil pad before purchasing to ensure a proper fit. In summary, the Allen Company Recoil Eraser is an effective recoil-reducing pad that enhances shooting comfort. Its gel-filled design effectively reduces felt recoil, providing a more enjoyable shooting experience. The pad is easy to install, durable, and offers a cushioned feel, reducing the risk of shoulder soreness or bruising. While sizing may be a consideration for some users, this recoil pad offers a practical solution for those seeking enhanced shooting comfort.

Great fit!
The medium size fit my Winchester 1200 like a glove. The small size was perfect for my H&R Topper. Looks like they will take a little sting out of the recoil with hot rounds.

Looks Good... BUT...
The absorbing pad is rubber and is about 1" thick, which is good. Installation is quick and easy and simple. The Biggest issue comes when shooting some shells with above average recoil. the pad rests on the existing buttstock, It doesn't fasten at all. This creates a recoil absorbing pad that is subtly shifting with each shot. You now have to adjust after each shot to keep the pad on the shoulder, or risk shots with recoil in the outer shoulder or chest, both of which are moderately uncomfortable. It does its job, but a lower-profile gel pad may be preferred. This also adds about 3/4" to LOP, which may make manipulation for follow-up shots difficult

Snug fit, just what I wanted. Highly recommended for my RWS pellet rifle
This recoil pad was purchased for my vintage RWS "Diana" German made .177 break barrel pellet rifle. This particular pellet rifle has long been noted for its oppressive recoil. Newer models of this 34 now have a factory recoil pad already in place. It was a very snug fit and I wound up using and old wooden shoehorn with very dull edges to wedge it on and finally get it in place on the end of the stock. It's not loose at all and will never become that way. I'm very satisfied with the purchase, as it was processed in a timely manner and arrived before the estimated delivery date Great product and service

I have three of these in small for use with K98 Mauser, Lee Enfield and a K43. They work better than I expected they would. I have to take blood thinners and without them even after 20 shots, my shoulder looks like I was kicked by a horse. Last week I fired a total of 99 .303 and 8mm rounds and I don't show any bruising whatsoever. The added bonus is the extra length they add to the rifle's stock makes them all fit me better. The only very slight downside is they need to be taken off the rifle for storing in the gun safe as the rubber and the wood finish on the stock do not get along well over long periods but that is a very minor issue. The go on and come off easily enough.

I used this on a lightweight, sporterized Lee-Enfield .303. The gun only has a ridged hard plastic butt plate and kicks like the proverbial mule. This product reduced the sharp, hard recoil to a dull comfortable thud. It has a custom stock that measures about 5.25 x 1.6”. The medium size fits snugly over the butt, including the thin plastic plate. I also got another one for a Mossberg MVP Patrol .223. The recoil on this one is not nearly so punishing as the .303, but it’s snappier than I expected. That is because it is light and there’s a tubular structure in the buttstock that is covered only by a thin rubber butt cover. Some might not notice this too much but I can feel the end of that tube with every shot. The Allen recoil reducer eliminated that too. The stock dimension is about the same as the .303 and the medium fits well right over the thin factory butt cover. Both rifles are vastly more comfortable to shoot now. The LOP is a little longer but I don’t find that a big problem. When buying one you do need to measure the stock dimensions carefully and match the size of the slip on (on some makes this information is pretty vague.) The rubber is flexible but you want the inside dimension of the pad to be within about .25” of the gun butt.

Was looking far and wide for info on a proper recoil pad that would fit my Remington 870 20 gauge (sportsman model with the wood stock) and this one seemed a fit. The small is a perfect fit over the current pad (if you could call the original a pad, the thing is hard as a rock) and is noticeably softer than the original. It does help lower the felt recoil and is more comfortable than the original. Haven’t shot a ton with it but it does seem to stay in place well. Is it as good as a limbsaver or a pachmayr, don’t think so, but at a fraction of the price, it helps with recoil, gives me the longer length of pull I needed and is a great deal!

I couldn't find the right size for my Henry Big Boy in 357 magnum which kicks like a mule with its brass butt plate. The small size fits decently. It's a bit loose, not enough to fall off by any means but loose enough to pull it off easily. Seems quite comfortable. Haven't shot it yet but with all the rubber padding I do think it'll cut down on the recoil by 60 or 70%.
