The olive oil grown in Morrocco is the best olive oil for you. Moroccan olive oil, particularly extra virgin olive oil like this, is rich in monounsaturated fats and polyphenols, which can improve heart health and help reduce inflammation. The harsh climate in Morrocco somehow grows olives that have more polyphenols than olives grown in other climates. I read about using olive oil being used as a health drink. They recommended drinking about a liter a week, the same article said that Moroccan olive oil would give you the same benefits with only a tablespoon of olive oil per week. Since I could not see drinking an entire liter of olive oil, so this product seemed like the easiest way to get the health benefits I want without having to drink so much.

I bought this to take a tablespoon every evening to try and help my health. I have to admit it is working for me. I'm sleeping better and feel better during the day. Also, it seems to be helping me snack less in the evening. Not every olive oil works they say, and this one has the things they suggest it should have, like single origin, cold extraction and less than .2% acidity. The taste takes a bit to get used to, but the benefits keep me taking it. I haven't tried cooking with it but will someday.

Bought this for the polyphenols. It was among the better priced oils. It leaves a bit of an after taste or after bite. It's hard to say what the health results are for the long term, but I will give it another try...

This is a great EVOO and Amazon is now the only place I can find it. I do the Mediterranean diet and am fussy over my olive oil. This is one of the best.
