Please note not all are medium flakes
I have searched medium flakes had no idea i had ordered fine because I upped the size to 2kg. I now have a huge bag of flakes I cannot use or return even though completely unopened

Fine bran - Not so fine anymore - contains wood shavings
I have IBD and can no longer get Normacol which was perfect for me (ceased production globaly according to the website). So experimenting with various insoluable fibres and seeds I found course bran too irritating and tried fine bran which works for me. Mixed with Chia seeds and psyllium gives the same result as Normacol did so happy tummy. Considering it's the waste byproduct from wheat grain it's a bit expensive but the processing costs money as does the packaging so for me it's worth every penny. UPDATE, just started my lastest packet and the quality is quite poor. There's a lot of stalks in the mix like wood chips which irritate my gut. My wife suggested sieving the stuff and to be fair has worked quite well but does mean about 30% of the packet is wasted. I have since bought another packet but 1kg which is from a different batch number but still the same sticks in the mix. So I'll break out the sieve again. I have contacted to supplier who said there's nothing they can do and to contact Amazon if I want a refund. Not much point really. I am disappointed and hope the quality improves with the next purchase.
