Keeps food cool
My high school age kids refuse to pack a lunch bag because it’s not cool. With these super slim cooler bags they bring all their food for tha day and it stays cool even when the temps are over 100.

These are so convenient, wish they also came in a smaller size.
I purchased these for a trip. I was carrying several items that needed to stay cool during summer weather. I placed all of the items that needed to be kept cool, plus a small round gel pack that met TSA restrictions, in a pint zip lock, and the zip lock fit perfectly in this cold bag. While I was traveling around locally, I could easily fold it and place it in my purse. As far as leaking, I gave it a 5, but not really sure, as I didn’t carry any liquids in them without the liquids being in a container. It would be great if these came in a smaller size, too.

Work well but a little flawed.
I bought these for the purpose of keeping food cold. They work really well but the top zipper seems to break fairly easily. I don't know how they work for keeping food hot but for cold, they work well. You can easily pack a chocolate protein bar and not worry about the chocolate melting. My son packs snacks in his disc golf bag and they have worked well at keeping food cold/non-melting even with the outdoor temps in the 90's.

Great product for the price
For about $2 per bag you get some pretty incredible insulation in a very lightweight bag.I am bringing one along for my next backpacking trip to keep my meals warm as they re-hydrate. I placed a cup of boiling water in a ziploc freezer bag, then placed it in this insulated bag and placed it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes the water was at 158 F which is pretty incredible insulation for sometime so lightweight. If you want even better results you can place this inside something like a Big Sky International Insulite Pouch. If I was packing a lunch and needed to keep something warm for a few hours, that is probably the route I would go.Each bag weighs approximately .5 ounces

Doesn't keep the food warm
Those don't hold the food warm, doesn't do the job, don't buy them and waste your money. The foil side should be inside to keep the food warm, but it's from the outside so it does nothing

Great sandwich keeper
These bags work great. My husband makes a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and takes it to work with him and the sandwich does get soggy but stay nice and warm. That way he gets a great breakfast just the way he likes his sandwich.

and those are holding up much better.
I bought five of these and now I have zero. The zipper part rips out, leaving them unable to close. They're flimsy and didn't last long. I purchased some lined ones made of cloth, and those are holding up much better.
