Cherry Falls / Terror Tract (Double Feature)

Man I love Cherry Falls and Britney Murphy. This was such a great slasher flick. I remember watching this back when it 1st premiered on the USA Network way back in the day. I freaking LOVED it.

Cherry Falls turns the teen slasher genre on its head in a big way... in order to guarantee your survival, you have to lose your virginity.I’m the vein of Urban Legend and Wes Craven’s Scream series, Cherry Falls is an entertaining and enjoyable film. The late Brittany Murphy is great as the female lead and delivers a fun performance throughout. This film never reached its audience when it was originally released - and has become a coveted cult film among the horror community. Before Scream Factory offered this beautiful print, the only way to own the film was to get your hands on the subpar DVD release that has been long out of print. The film looks great and the behind the scenes footage, along with the 20+ minute Documentary is a nice addition to this release. If you’re a fan of horror and slashers, you should give this a chance!

This movie had so much cut from it which, really hurt the greatness that could have been so shame on you people at the MPAA because you people, in your suites, really hurt movies and freedom of speech with your film cutting b.s!

good movie and good quality came in mail very fast

A truly underrated and unexpected horror classic from the early 2000s. With a solid cast of quirky yet relatable characters, a neat style and eerie atmosphere, Cherry Falls is a really great flick.The Scream Factory blu-ray is a perfect edition for any completist of the horror genre, with a solid transfer and some nice extras, it's well worth the price.

I had this movie on vhs and started tossing them when DVD's came out. I couldn't find it on DVD anywhere and it was one my wife liked 😳I finally found it on DVD but it was for Region 2 only.Now finding it on Blu Ray made my year. Thanks for having it available. ✌

I will start of with the good.The movie is amazing and the cover art it so beautifulThe badThe case came broken and fr a collector that is a big no no! I didn't return it because i waited so long for it.

If you're looking for this, you know how much this movie needs justice.This Blu-ray gives you a perfect audiovisual representation of Cherry Falls with must see extras.I like to think of Cherry Falls as an Italian Giallo film with a twist.It plays like the faculty, you come in expecting yet another movie about dumb teenagers or a Scream clone and is confronted with a witty subversive film that stands on it's own.If anything, watch it for Brittany Murphy's amazing performance.I love this Blu-ray to bits.

Slowly getting the recognition it deserves, this is a great slasher given a good transfer and a load of extras. Sadly still not uncut but the best version currently available. Behind Scream, I can’t think of a better American 90’s slasher.

This millenial slasher was released a few years to early to benefit from Saw/Hostel horror boom and too late in the cycle of Scream imitators.Originaly meant to be gorier with teen nudity the MPAA demanded cuts to meet the rating.The distributors backed down from the MPAA, trimmed the gore and nudity then dumped it straight to TV/DVD in the states. Thus making it the most expensive film released as a TV movie.This review is for the German release by Koch Media has the same specs as the US Scream Factory BluRay and is the same pre-cut 91.29 min version. I've put it with the UK DVD as its not on Amazon UK.Be aware that in the original feature where the actors are interviewed the onscreen questions are in German.Grain is present and correct and the BluRay also has removable subtitles and eight chapters.Picture quality is great and so is the price with Amazon on the Amazon Germany site.
