A fearless, unapologetic, author and leader. This should be the standard reference for American and African history!!! We can only wish to duplicate his vehemence for his history and his people!!!

Young people (of all races) need this book. Despite that Black History is acknowledged and celebrated in many schools and workplaces today, people of all ages (including Blacks) are as ignorant as ever about the accomplishments and contributions of people of African descent outside of sports and entertainment. Many people on social media today disclaim that Hanibal, the great warrior, militant and conqueror was a Black man; or even more recently, that the oritinal writer of the film The Matrix could possibly have been a Black woman. Those who would disclaim The contributions that people of African descent made and continues to make are terribly miseducated. For those who want to be educated on the subject, this book is a wonderful start.

I am so glad I stumbled on to this book. It is by far one of the best written and most informative book I've ever encountered. Everything written in the book is well worth reading. I've never read a book's Introduction that was so interesting as what is written in J. A. Roger's book. Once I've completed reading this book, I will order the next volume. Once you start reading "World's Great Men of Color", it's hard to put it down. It makes you want to go in to a hidden closet away from everyone and read, because the way the book is written, you will find yourself mentally at every scene action and location.

Definitely a fun filled read. So many ancients to learn about and so little time. If your thinking about it, purchase it. 👍🏾✨

This book is important. It clearly speaks that. Africans were great! Africans have a long and distinguished history long before and after slavery! Volume 2 is even more fascinating

Love it gave it for a gift

Wonderful book as I continue to learn about more heroes (men and women) of african descent. It teaches us that our history goes beyond slavery and the civil rights movement which seems to be all we are taught in Europe at the lower levels of the education system.Very well written and informative and I will definitely get the second addition as I continue to teach myself and son about our wonderful past.
