10 Metal Chrome Skull Beads For 550 Paracord Bracelets, Lanyards, Other Projects

These skulls look GREAT! I bought these as paracord lanyard knot spacers for my tip up folding knives. In that regard, they are awesome! You can easily run two strands of paracord thru these beads without a lot of effort.There is virtually no skin contact when using the beads for my application, so, the issue I see others having with the chrome coating wearing off is not an issue. If you are going to put these in bracelets, you might want to shop around a bit for beads with a thicker Chrome coating.All in all, I will buy them again. They look really good on lanyards. However, if I want to use them in bracelets, I will be looking elsewhere, because of the issues I see others are having with the beads coming into contact with skin.Thanks for reading, and, I hope you find this review useful.

I use these for knife lanyards and they work out great. I did make one lanyard for a knife that I carry in my pocket as opposed to clipped onto my pocket, and noticed that the chrome begins to wear fairly quickly. Personally I thought the patina from the worn chrome was pretty cool, but if I was using these for jewelry such as bracelets or a necklace, I would want sterling or a much more substantial chrome coating. For the price and for my personal application they worked out fine.

Skull beads are good size with nice detail and a large hole to string a double line of 550 cord with out any problem. I caught these on sale and ordered two sets of 10 the price was a smoking deal! so add them to your wish list and catch them when the price is low. I use these when I'm making ID holders with a break away buckle and add some cool factor to survival bracelets.

perfect skull beads for knife lanyards. Good size and weight each one is slightly different as far as coloring. Ok detail for this price.
