Comfortable Pants
Super comfortable for hiking. I've done a lot of climbing on rough textures when I'm climbing up mountains and they haven’t ripped so it's great quality.

Good with some modification
I found these pants in a size 8 to be a nice fitted cut through hips, thighs and lower legs, but a bit too tight for comfort in the waist. I am 5'7" 135lb - tried the size 10 and the waist fit nicely but pants were too loose for my taste in the hips and legs. I addressed the problem by removing the elastic from both sides of the waist and now the 8 fits great. It was, though, a tedious fix, and it does require cutting the elastic and re-sewing the waistband. As far as length, the inseam in the size 8 seems to be just under 30in - I would prefer an extra inch but it will suffice. I do agree with a couple of other commenters that the zipper for shorts can rub just above the knees - wish the shorts length was a little shorter, as it would probably solve this problem and also would be a nicer look that than the long Bermuda length as is. I wasn't sure I would like or use the capri roll up, but the snaps/straps are nicely executed and I think this will be useful feature . I plan to wear the pants for travel, so have not hiked in them yet to know if the knee zippers will be a problem or not.Update after trip - I loved the pants after modification and did not have any discomfort from the zippers above the knee. We walked 10-12k steps almost every day for 2 weeks.

perfect
Light-weight and comfortable! They were perfect for my trip to Alaska and plan on taking them with me to the mountains of New Mexico in June

Waist runs very small
I like these pants. The fabric isn't too "swishy" when you walk, but it is pretty thin. They have enough stretch to be comfortable. The zippers seem to work well so far. I really like the capri and shorts options. The pockets seem functional, if a little small. The issue that I have is with the waist size. I originally ordered a size 6, my normal size. They fit perfectly everywhere except the waist. It was MUCH too small. It looked like the rest of the pants were a size 6, but the waist was maybe a 4. I exchanged them for an 8. Received those today. The waist in these seems to be the same as the size 6, maybe a TINY bit larger. Every other part of the size 8 is just slightly too large on me while the waist is still too small. This wouldn't be a problem if the waist had more stretch. Don't be fooled by those little elastic panels on the side of the waistband. Those might be great if the waist was the proper size to begin with. But as they are, it doesn't really do much. I'll have to decide if I'll go to the trouble and expense of having them altered, or just return them.

Nice
First time buying hiking pants. Need them for an upcoming vacation that's closer to the equator where we will be doing light hiking a couple of days. The fabric is lightweight but a little stiffer than what I was expecting - but it seems sturdy so I guess that's what's important. I LOVE that they are long, can roll up to capris and can unzip for shorts! Will reduce the amount of items I need to pack. Turning the pants into shorts was easy - putting the fabric back together was a little tricky until I figured out which bottom went with which top part. LOL The zipper that stays when converting to shorts has an overlay of fabric so do not worry about a zipper cutting up your legs. Also, spent a considerable amount of time (NEWBIE here!) trying to find the snaps to convert these into capris. SPOILER ALERT! there is a small snap hidden under a very tiny flap in the seams of the leg - mid-calf! Totally unnoticeable at first and since they're small, I wasn't feeling where they were. I'm glad these are quick dry because I can wash them in the sink on vacay and hopefully they will dry overnight. VERY pleased with my purchase and can't wait to wear these!

Love the color and more elegant fit
It’s easy to convert from pant to short and back again. The zippers are if good quality. It can easily convert to capri length. But I noted they fall a bit. Fabric is not pilled. The thickness feels like a good weight for spring, summer and fall. You may need another layer of using in the winter. The liquid rolls right off, so I can see this being a go to for hiking in the rain. There is only one zippered pocket. All others are deep enough to hold your mobile phone. I have a iPhone 12 and it’s not tight when in either back pocket or front pocket. Enjoy.

Great for travel
I love these pants. ( the outdoor travel camping safari pants). I took them on a 2 week trip. They take up little room in the suitcase. They looked fresh and unwrinkled for the whole trip. I did spay them once with water and hung them overnight. They are heavy, but not too heavy nylon fabric. They do not make that horrible sound when walking like some nylon pants do. I did some hiking in them and also wore them sightseeing.Issues: the one zip pocket in front, close to the knee, has the zipper at the outside seam when open, and at the middle of your leg when closed. They really should have done that the other way. The way it is now, the zipper is very noticeable in the middle of your leg. I did not use that pocket, but you would only be able to put something small and pretty flat in it. And I wish they were not convertible. I didn’t need that and they would look better without it - less like you were camping.Still, I would definitely recommend them for travel and would buy them again.
