My grandson really enjoys it

So, legit folks. It's a ramp. A big, colorful ramp. Really big. Bigger than I was expecting. It takes up a nice corner of the living room. Also, it makes noise. I wasn't expecting the noise for some reason and you can thank my five year old for pointing out that there was a place to put batteries. I WANT to be super annoyed with the fact that this is a $120 ramp. I WANT to tell you it's a colorful, noisey ramp and you shouldn't waste your money on a colorful, 2.5' tall ramp. HOWEVER. My kids adore this noisey colorful, ramp. ABSOLUTELY ADORE. I would say it's cause the 5 year old is easily amused, but his 8 year old brother is out there playing with it at this exact moment, and their 11 year old cousin is super jealous he can't take it home, so what can I say. Noisey, colorful ramps are totally where it's at. God help me. Sidenote, it only works with cars, bouncy balls won't stay on the track. Ask me how I know. Or don't. Probably best if you don't.In all seriousness, my main advice is to make sure you follow the directions setting it up, my ex-husband thought he didn't need the directions, and then I had to unscrew the top part to fix it because once snapped in, it wasn't meant to snap out. It would be much easier to just follow the directions to start with. Or, don't let the ex-husband set it up, your choice. Otherwise, it's very sturdy, very colorful, and made for two very happy little boys on Christmas!

I bought this for my son and he loved it. I will say that the sounds can be a bit loud but as long as they are using it in their room it's fine. It was larger than I thought. This is the toy my son plays with the most now. He even has the Mario kart circuit track set. He's never played with that one the way he does with this one. And what's amazing is he loves the King Boo character and this set come with that car. You can't find it any where else. It is relatively sturdy but my kids did fall on it and it broke apart but was easy to snap back in place. It is a bit pricey but luckily I got it much cheaper than I've ever seen it. It was a fantastic buy.

My son is obsessed with mario and hot wheels and this was the perfect toy for christmas. He was so happy with how cool it looked and the al the colors and how big it was. Plus we got it for a good price.

Gave grandson the Hot Wheels Mario Kart Rainbow Road Raceway for his 5th birthday. It was easy to assemble, following instructions. Took less than 20 minutes to assemble. Track is sturdy and with the lighted starting gate and finish it was non-stop fun.Even the older kids left their iPads, tablets, cell phones and other electronic devices to play with this toy. He got a variety of Mario Hot Wheels cars to race on the track. There is some type of random device that will pop up and stop some of the cars just short of finish line that adds to the fun. I think it can be turned off but all the kids wanted it on, adding to the uncertainty of race results.The fastest car doesn't always win. Great play value.

My son was waiting a very long time for this track, it finally arrived and it was easy to assemble. He was a little disappointed though when he found that the Question Mark Items in the last part of the track don't work. It doesn't matter whether we flip the switch on or off, nothing seems to work and those obstacles never pop out.I later checked some other reviews and a few other buyers also complained about the same thing. Not sure if it's a problem with a certain batch or it's the tracks from this specific supplier.Anyway, it's still fun to play with, just not exactly what he expected without all the promised features.

You would think that after a few hundred presses of the start button and waiting for the green light you would get a little tired of it...nope. My 6yo daughter and I love sending our collection of mario characters down the curves and waiting to see who gets victory snatched away from them by a shell.The track itself is great, but what does it for every single person that walks in our house and sees it for the first time is the sound effects at the beginning and end. From the 5-car starting line, to the randomized power-ups, to the electronic finish line, this playset is the quintessential total package.My only tiny critique is that the stands holding the track are lightweight enough that the track can get a little warped when they move off position, which is easy when you have an excited princess peach fan being a little too enthusiastic for revenge after baby mario edged out a victory. I ended up using some stuff from the garage to reinforce the beams and keep rainbow road fair for all competitors.
