These are great for shooting a stream right on your friends. Just stick it in the water and draw up a load and let it spray! The stream is strong and direct... You can push really hard it shoots a long way.Blast your friend right in the face with a powerful stream! So fun!!!

These are fun to play with and we also use them to spray our dogs off when it’s hot!

Update: This is serviceable for my use (discouraging squirrels and now raccoons from raiding my bird seed). I use a prefilled 5 gallon bucket of water; hold the tip flat against the bottom and draw back; hold my finger over the end; aim and shoot immediately and it is effective! The animals are now trained to run when they hear the sucking sound! 😉. The only downside is you need to be on constant guard...but if that’s all you can do during the lockdown you’re good! 😷Old ReviewI am skeptical about reports of this being able to shoot a stream of water any significant distance. I bought to discourage squirrels from raiding the bird food on our deck. I filled a 5 gallon bucket with water for quick refills. I was expecting the plunger seal to be tighter: the water runs out of the barrel and by time you are in position you are only able eject a large “raspberry” of a squirt. Maybe that will be a deterrent, maybe not. I suppose a better seal (to prevent leakage) would make it too hard for a child to operate. Tilting it upward causes water to run out of the top. I’ll try holding my finger over the end to keep the water in as some have suggested. I am sure this would be fun in a pool or floating in a river but for my purpose (squirrel water park) I am disappointed.

These were a gift for our grandchildren and they absolutely love them! The youngest is a 5yr old girl who is very tiny and she had no problems filling, carrying and blasting her Dad. The weight and bulk of other water blasters makes it difficult even for her older brother and sister and gave Dad an edge in every battle. Now that they are armed properly, he doesn't stand a chance!!! I am pleased with how well they work and have held up.

More like a range of 45 feet... On the other hand, it shoots a full liter of water. :-D

Both water guns were after one use. One cracked and can't shoot very far, and the other one warped on the inside and makes it difficult to draw water and shoot (and also lost its range). Unfortunate!
