Autumn is the new girl in town, she is recently divorced and on a drunken night bought a pier in Angel Sands. She wants to make a go of it but there is always her father in the background urging her to sell and get back to New York. Griff is the hunk who owns the boat taking out tourists to whale watch and he has is eye on the beautiful newcomer. He is definitely into a bit of fun there is no chance he wants to get serious after seeing how his parents lived their lives. He looks after himself and his friends and thats it. Except Autumn turns out to be a different kind of lady and he becomes more than interested.

A good storyline, felt sorry for Griff with his awful family and Autumn’s controlling father and her ex., a bit of a twist there i wasn’t expecting. Worth a read. Its a long time before the next in the series, next January!

I loved this series, read 1 to 5 during lockdown so preordered this and was not disappointed I really think thus was my favorite yet. Ready for book 7 now.

I was given this book in turn for an honest review.When Autumn and Griff meet, they can feel an instant pull to each other. Both having sworn off having a relationship, they fight the attraction, until denying the temptation is no longer an option.I loved Pieces of Us, it is an emotional, heart breaking and heart-warming in equal measure, beautiful story. Carrie Elks has written Griff’s story brilliantly, there is much more to Griff than you imagine from reading the other books in the Angel Sands series. I was hooked from start to finish, and I did not want to put this book down! Dare I say, it has to be the best book in the Angel Sands series so far, and this series is brilliant. I cannot get enough of these characters or Angel Sands.I adored both Griff and Autumn, both with a past that had shaped the way they gravitated through life, both helping the other to see a different perspective to life, one where they could have all they had dreamed of and more.This story has a few turns of events, some will have you holding your breath, some will bring tears to yours eyes, with heartache and with happiness. This story keeps you on your toes throughout, leaving you wondering where the story is heading. There were a couple of turns that I did not see coming, which added to the emotion of the story for me. One of my top reads for 2020 without any doubt!Although Pieces of Us can be read as a standalone, to get the full enjoyment of this series, I recommend reading them in order. The Angel Sands series and Pieces of Us are perfect for contemporary romance readers, you will not be disappointed!
