The Homebrewer's Garden, 2nd Edition: How to Grow, Prepare & Use Your Own Hops, Malts & Brewing Herbs

This is an excellent guide for beginners to both to brewing and to gardening, keeping everything simple but fairly comprehensive. A very easy read I've chewed through in a day and intend to reference quite often over time. It's a little difficult to write much about because it does exactly what it sets out to be without drowning in bells and whistles. I'm excited to try some of the recipes (especially the mum), and though it wasn't my intent going in genuinely feel like I would enjoy taking a swing at malting since the guides have cleared up a lot of prior confusion.

I have home brewed for years using commercial supplies and wanted to get an idea of how much I could do from home. This book was a great background to figure out what i could do with my backyard vs what i should leave to the professionals.

this book provides great how-to information for growing beautiful various types of hops and most any ingredient you would care to introduce to your brews.

Finally I found a book on brewing that goes into DIY detail without requiring a chemistry degree! One of the best buys I've found and an enjoyable/informative read!

Great book about farming in your back yard to brew beer!

I have hops in the garden so fancied seeing what I could do with them. The book covers all aspects from growing, training, harvesting, drying hops and has a host of recipes for beer making. Very useful to dip into for advice
