Cougar Spring Loaded Slalom Poles 5' Agility Speed Multi Sport Training (Set of 8 Poles)

The poles came when they were supposed to and were packaged well. I am happy with them, but out of the package, there were a few that would not stand up properly. I half expected this because of the others who wrote reviews, but was hoping to get a little bit of use out of them before dealing with this issue. NONE of them have strong enough springs to hold their shape when put in the ground diagonally. 4 Stars because, honestly, I got what I expected.

This are perfect for a dog agility course. They are alittle tall at 5 feet but can easily be cut down. These are very sturdy and have a thick pointed spike on the end which makes it easy to stick in harder ground. I bought some metal plant stakes from home depot and they broke when i tried to put them in my yard. These when in with no problem. Love them so much im buying another set so i do t have to keep moving them when i train. 2 thumbs up on these.

I bought these Agility Poles for our U10 competitive soccer team to use for drills and relays.We have been using them for almost 6 months. Quality is just OK.The plastic parts of the poles are light weight, but adequate.The springs appear to be fairly heavy duty but after some use they are not enough to keep the poles standing vertical which results in floppy leaning poles. The spikes are fairly heavy duty. I was able to take the poles apart and eliminate the spring which allows the poles to stand up straight, but eliminates the shock absorption of the springs. Time will tell how they hold up. At $75 they seem a bit expensive for poles without shocks.

Arrived in great condition. Set them up no issues, the kids dribbled and ran in and out of them. They bounced back and forth, and back to their upright spots. Bright in color, tall, and does the job. To this point, does the job perfectly. Biggest deal will be keeping the from pulling them back to hit each other with.

Interface between pole and spring loaded base could be a little more robust but generally pleased for backyard training and smaller children.
