A good C13 PDU, but pricey if you don't need C13.
The construction of this PDU feels quite good. The case is well built and does not feel cheaply made. The ports do not feel cheaply made either and all connectors seat firmly. The unit that I received did have a couple of small scratches on it, but you'll of course never see them once mounted in a rack. The modular rack ears are great. Whereas some competing PDUs are designed such that they can only be mounted one way, this PDU can be flipped. If you want the ports facing out of the rack, you can do that. The side of the case have short metal posts that index on the rack ears, making it easy to line them up and secure them with the provided screws. As an insignificant nitpick, I wish the included screws were black so the color was more consistent with the rack ears mounted. The branding on this product is quite subtle, which is appreciated. A logo is printed on the port-side, but it's faint. A stick bearing the brand name is on the back, and can be easily removed if you wish. The C20 input connector is definitely a plus, giving you more freedom and modularity when choosing a terminating connector. I wish, however, that a C19 to NEMA 5-15P cable was included. I know that it wouldn't be applicable for everyone, but including something would be better than nothing, particularly at this price point.Other than the modular input, this PDU feels short on features compared to the competition. Other PDUs offer LEDs for ground status, power status, or even surge status, whereas this model offers nothing. Other PDUs offer a main control switch whereas this model doesn't offer such control. The importance of these features will of course vary based on the application, but for use in a homelab rack those features would be valuable. At the time of writing this review the price of the "without AC power filter" variant of this PDU is selling for $74.99. I think this price is pretty high considering that there are a lot of competing PDUs that are priced lower and offer the aforementioned features that this product lacks. Where this PDU stands out from the bulk of competitors here on Amazon is in its use of C13 ports. However, consider that many retired enterprise PDUs use C13 connections as well, and often are metered (some even with web portals), and can be found for quite cheap, both here on Amazon and in your local area.

Sturdy PDU
This is a sturdy 1U PDU for your standard telecom/network equipment rack. It's solidly made with a metal housing and comes with detachable and reversible mounting ears for greater flexibility. It does not come with a power cord and my model does not have a power switch on it. Which is good because it prevents accidentally turning off an entire rack of equipment. Output ports are standard IEC320 C13. I have not encountered any issues with mine and I'm pleased with it.

Got for home network setup
I’ve been acquiring parts to get ready to hardwire our home and set up a decent size home network for our 2800 sq ft home. Haven’t yet used this as it’s still waiting for set up but upon receiving it, I took it out of the box and inspected for flaws and to see how sturdy the item appears to be and I am currently satisfied and optimistic about its functionality.

A durable power distribution unit.
So far so good. I am using this in a small server cabinet. It put it on the rack and hooked everything up. It cleaned up some cables and power strips which is nice. I am not pushing this to it’s max load so I can’t speak to how well it holds up to extreme use, but so far, it’s been running cool and has provided clean and consistent power. I still use a UPS on the system and have other things in place to protect the circuit. It’s a fairly small form factor and won’t impose much on your rack setup. There are more robust offerings out there but you’ll be paying a lot more for them. I think this was a good value for what I got. An option to buy it with or without all the cables would be a nice option to save me a step.

good replacement for APC AP9565
Shipped fast, rugged construction. This is generally used for back of rack power distribution from a UPS, it doesn't have a circuit breaker or power switch, which is EXACTLY what I required.
