Q: I'm a 72 yr. old woman, can I use a garden hoe or should I get a shuffle hoe?

I'm an extremely active 60 yr old who hates to weed, weed, weed. I've got better things to do! But, I love this hoe!!! I have 4 10x30' beds and can easily take care them in one shot (before I mulch, mulch, mulch!!) This is the best hoe I've ever used. My kids are organic farmers, and they use it too!! I've never used a scuffle hoe, but have used wheel hoes (same principle, scraping blade). The rouge is good for tight spots, where the a scuffle, depending on how wide, is good for bigger areas. Blade is about 6 inches you will love this hole my garden was full of crab grass this hole distroid it in a mater of a short time I know it is a little price wise high but worth it. Boda

Once the adhesive is dried, it forms a strong tight bond that is stronger than the wood. A rivet is then installed through the ferrule and handle.
