Del Rey Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

Thrilling and Entertaining account of The movie!
This book was well written and filled a number of gaps in the movie to expand on the origins of the elements of the story. Learning about Short Round's origin in Shanghai and meeting Indiana Jones was one gap.The origins of Willie Scott was another. There was some information about the Shaman and the village of Mayapore. There was some exposition about the Thuggee cult in Pankot Palace and dialogue of Chattar Lal and Captain Blumburtt which was quite interesting. It was a thrilling and exciting read and kept the reader hooked. It was 216 pages and is not a long book at all to finish (about 2-3 days). It captures all the action that occurred in the film and the accompanying dialogue. An absorbing book.
