Never go abroad without it
I would always recommend using an SPF always, I tend to start with a factor 30 for a few days and use this when the sun isn't at it's highest point. This is one of my favourite products to take to the beach so much that my entire family now uses it. The smell is pleasant but more floral and talcum powder but the two things I swear by is how it keeps my skin super soft (I have quite dry skin) all through the day into the evening and the fact you barely have to use any to get a good effect. A little goes a long way. I would also say apply it in a place where you won't get sand totally stuck to you but all these minor details are nothing in comparison to the difference it makes on my skin on a sunny holiday.
