Doing a lot of hiking in the desert and found the bugs were going crazy for my sunblock. They were actually flying into my eyes and ears. I got this hat mostly for bug protection but I take a ton of pictures and didn't want something that would be a hassle for opening my phone camera. The face covering is very easily pulled down then immediately pulled back up. My breathing isn't effected at all when the fabric is up. The hat protects the tops of my ears completely from getting burned. I love this and the price was great. Super fast delivery, too. Highly recommend.

Kept my face and neck from being burned, kept some rain off my head (by tucking the neck flap up into the top of the hat) and didn’t blow off in the wind.What more can you ask for the price?

My husband is outside everyday farming & doing fence work, this hat keeps the sun off his face & neck. He is very picky about his hat but loves this one! It’s great quality & not hard & stuff.

The sun hat was exactly as pictured on Amazon. The materials are very light weight which to me make it more user friendly. It should be a long, hot, sunny summer and this sun shield hat should be very helpful to deflect harmful direct sun.Thanks, Amazon!!Rose

I was very pleased with this purchase. The material is lightweight but good quality. This can be worn in the middle of hot summer due to the nice material but of course can be worn during winter as well. I would recommend. The front flap can snap on and off and the back one as well. Versatile. WELL priced! Manufacturer is appreciated. Please treat workers well. We in America love quality products at a low price but we like to know our Chinese neighbors are being treated well and with respect. If questioning if you should buy this, I would say yes. It also has a chin strap, btw . .

I bought this for my husband’s fishing trips to protect his neck and face. Not that there is anything wrong with the face covering but my husband refuses to wear the face covering. His loss! I think this is a nice feature and would really protect those out in the water where the sun reflects off the water, sand, etc. The back covering is plenty long enough to protect the neck from the sun. The hat is lightweight and easy to pack away in a backpack. It is also comfortable to wear.

I use this weird hat whenever I get cosmetic facials. It's for protection against the sun. I can't wear sunscreen for a few days since my skin's barrier has been breached.

bit uncomfortable on the head, but you get use to it over time. also, I'm using this for hiking in the desert, so i get sweaty and all, so maybe that also a factor, if you are not doing any hard work, this might not even be an issue.
