Schiek 540 Platinum Lifting Gloves - One Year Warranty!

I bought these 6 years ago and have worn them for every workout, usually 3 times a week 2 hours at a time. I have worn them for all different kinds of workouts including very heavy sets that test my grip strength. These never failed. Even though they still work great, they are nearing the end of their life. I retired them and bought a new pair just like them.The only suggestion I have would be to make the stitching on the straps tougher. The stitches began to separate a couple years ago but have miraculously hung on right at the edge seam all that time.Again, these pics demonstrate 6 years of hard and consistent work. These are great gloves, especially for the price. The wrist support properties of them are no joke.Thanks Scheik for this great product!

Best weightlifting gloves on the market.

Good purchase. After a few times of skin cracking and skin bleeding. I decided to make the purchase . Rather try and be tuff about it I got the gloves so that it can proper heal so that I could continue to lift. I would say that the gloves are padded through the palms but for the fingers where I get the cracking. Aren’t so much. Either way , suffient padding to reduce callouse and extra wrist support. Wife has been real happy on the smooth feel of my hands and no more rough sharp jagged dead skin jabbing her lol

I have been using these gloves for about 4 weeks now and I usually lift 5 days a week. These gloves have been holding up very well, a lot better than my last pair of harbinger gloves. These gloves are made of quality material and look like they are going to last me a long time. I lift often and pretty heavy and my gloves usually don't last too long, my last pair of harbingers where a similar style, but began to fall apart almost immediately, after sewing them up for the 6th time, I finally decided to purchase these gloves. After putting these gloves through a good amount of use at the gym, they still look like new and have little signs of wear and no stitching is coming undone. The fins are really useful and these gloves come right off at the end of my workouts with no effort, simply pull on the fins and the gloves are off. The wrist support is very good, the velcro does attach at the bottom instead of the top of the wrist, but I do not have any issues with that as I don not generally wear long sleeve shirts. There is a good amount of padding on the palms, maybe too much! The only issue I have had with these gloves is when I do back workouts and have to do a lot of pulling exercises, because of the amount of padding on the palms, it is very difficult to get a secure grip and my forearms end up getting very fatigued quickly. I simply do not wear my gloves on back day anymore. For all other workouts, including chest, tri, shoulder and bi's, these gloves are great! the padding on the palms are really great for bench press and doing any type of push exercise. Overall, these are great gloves, true to fit, quality construction and will last a long time!

Yes, they feel bulky the first time you wear them and the gripping the bars make that bulkiness feel even worse. That being said, the gloves break in quickly and the feeling of bulkiness goes away and the grip feels much more natural.One point to note. I see many people complaining about not being able to wear a watch, or that the straps don't go over a watch well. This is true because you shouldn't be wearing a watch with these gloves, or any other gloves like them to begin with. If you "must" wear a watch for some reason, loosen the band and push it further up your arm.

Wrist strap is too high to be of use. Finger holes splay out for some bizarre reason... it just adds more fabric for no purpose. Kinda cuts off circulation to fingers even with perfect fit. Kinda expensive for what they are.But the biggest 2 issues: 1 - the fingers don't grip like other gloves. In particular, there's no grip on the middle finger joint, which is extremely poor design. And 2 - there's too much unnecessary palm padding, so I can't get a good grip on anything.You can do MUCH better for much less money with something else instead.

Snuggly fit, strong and durable and giving me extra grip without the uncomfortable pinching.

I have now owned two pairs of these gloves; unfortunately I lost the first pair. They are the only gloves I have found that have stood up to 6 hours a week of lifting. All the other gloves I have tried have fallen apart after a few weeks to 1.5 months. The quality of these gloves is second to none.When I got my first pair I thought the Easy-Off Fins where goofy, but after a couple of workouts I fully understood their function and they do actually make it much easier to get the gloves off after a long workout.I highly recommend them to anyone that is serious about weight lifting.
