Just the right size, easy to clean and pretty to look at
Great teapot with a good capacity for two people. Easy to clean the strainer and a very pretty shade of blue.

Good teapot for everyday use
This teapot is similar to one I bought many years ago from Upton. It holds a bit less tea, but I boil extra water and add some to the teapot after the first cup or two. The strainer works very well to keep loose tea leaf residue out of the tea mug, and the design makes pouring tea easy.

It is exactly like the other two I have had over the years
I was upset when Upton Tea announced that the Chatsford Teapot was no longer made in the USA, but in China. But I needed one so I ordered the 6 cup teapot. It is exactly like the other two I have had over the years. I would rather buy American, but since it was not available I got this one. I am not disappointed and you will not be either. It is exactly the same as the other American made ones I have gotten over the years.

I love this teapot
I love this teapot! First of all, I love the color - it is exactly as pictured. I also like the strainer because it will hold tea bags or loose tea and it sits far enough down in the teapot that even if you are brewing a small amount of tea it will work well. I also like that you are able to make several cups of tea at once - handy when friends are joining you. Also, the angle of the spout works well for pouring tea. I would suggest getting a tea cozy if you want it to stay warm for longer periods of time.

Defective
The one we got was defective and would not pour smoothly, so it was returned. The replacement is better, but not as good as the old Chatsford we purchased from Upton Tea.

Charming addition to any kitchen
Package from England arrived in a terrible state, crushed from top to bottom. Teapot inside was safely tucked in bubble wrap, unscathed. Doesn't drip. Blue color is a delight to the eye. Gorgeous teapot!

What you need for loose tea
Happy camper & when needed, I'll buy from this company again. Biggest part of it all is the way it was packaged, fantastic.
