Checkered cloth is the BEST
I hosted an Italian night for 40?friends and needed more red/white checked tablecloths. I think cloth, not polyester, would give a more authentic feel to the tables (and it did!). I was delighted to find them on American Summertime. Bought 3 sizes for different tables and liked that the red sauce came out of the tablecloths easily in the wash. I’ll be using them often.

This tablecloth is flannel
I have been searching for a 52x52 HEAVYWEIGHT COTTON tablecloth in red and white check. I thought I had finally found it until I removed it from the bag. It is cotton but it is cotton flannel. And you have to line dry it. It will feel like eating on an old plaid shirt. I dread washing it as I fear it will bleed.

Beautiful woven gingham cotton tablecloth.
This table cloth is well made of thick woven cotton. The pattern runs throughout the material, front and back. ( not printed but woven) It’s a beautiful rich red color. I used my tablecloth to cover a small chair. It was a better price than I could find of this quality in regular gingham fabric.

Good quality and beautiful
I am very pleased with this tablecloth. I bought it to go inside a picnic basket I gave my grand niece for a wedding present. It is well-made with fine quality fabric and clean hems around the edges.
