I really like this - it's got a unique flavor that goes really well with mild fish. Not so hot you'll regret it.

This is really good hot sauce. It has a complex, smoky chili, umami flavor. It is not too hot – a true medium heat. It makes your tongue tingle but is not uncomfortable. This is my new favorite hot sauce for bloody Marys, Mexican food, etc. We even mixed it with melted butter for our popcorn – that was really good.

We like this hot sauce. It is really simple and runs right in the middle between mild and hot slightly on the milder side.This is interesting as it is a "Mexican" hot sauce but has a base of soy sauce which makes for a nice blend of flavors. This wasn't as hot as I expected, which was a good thing. Very unusual smoky flavor and good on a verity of dishes.

I’m not really sure what I expected when I tried this Salsa Especial Chiltepin El Rey. Around this part of Texas, salsa is normally a spicy tomato- and pepper-based sauce.Salsa Especial Chiltepin El Rey is made primarily of chiltepin peppers and soy sauce. The result is that it has a definite soy sauce flavor, in fact, much more of a soy sauce flavor than a chiltepin flavor.Chiltepin peppers are really hot (I used to grow them), at times hotter than habanero peppers, but you would not know it with this salsa. It’s pretty mild.Due to the overwhelming soy flavor and the lack of flavor from the chiltepin peppers, we’re not fans of this sauce.As the parent of kiddos with autism, there are causes near and dear to my heart.
