damaged in shipment
crack where one carrier sticks out and did not see it until we added the battery acid to it. Trying to find a solution to this and get a refund.....I understand the refund is in process.

I cannot hear the alarm on these backup sump pump panels. I wish it were louder!
I can't hear the alarm. My bedroom is right over the sump pump too. It's just not loud enough.

Battery is great. For all of the people complaining it doesn’t have acid, it is clearly stated in the ad NO ACID! Whether you buy it here or at a store, you must add the acid. You can get the acid at Home Depot or Lowes. Works great!

Shipped well, exactly what I needed.Adding the acid is a bit of a pain but there's really no way to avoid it, it is what it is.I needed a special cap for the battery sensor, it didn't come with the battery. I wrote to basement watchdog and they sent me one for free. Their customer service was great, just not sure why they didn't just put one of those caps in the original packaging.

it arrived without the acid pack so i promptly just returned it. You would have to add the acid yourself plus the distilled water to specific gravity, which is a meter I don't have. Walmart carries this complete, should have just gone there.

can now sleep at night when its raining heavely knowing if power fail my basementwill not be flooded like it was before I bought this product

Do not purchase does not comes dry and turns out I can't find place to purchase the acid tried purchasing it from amazon and manufacture and can't get any no idea how to return it
