Boone Outdoor Under da Tire Flag Pole Stand

Got this with a 14' flagpole. The base is sturdy and strong. My only issue is I have a smaller diameter flagpole, which when in this moves around alot so I use a piece of pipe insulation around the flagpole to make up the difference in size.Best part is the base unit separates which takes up less space with all the other tailgating materials in the trunk.I did not receive a carrying case though. Will email to see why.*Update 1/18/12*So although the Product Features lists "Carry case of heavy nylon keeps flag pole base parts organized", it DOES NOT come with a bag. There is another listing that DOES include the bag "Boone Outdoor Under da Tire Flag Pole Stand and Case" for a few bucks more.I contacted Amazon to let them know of this issue after I submitted an inquiry for a missing item (the bag). I promptly received another Flag Pole Stand, which was missing the bag again. Amazon should be editing the product feature to remove the listing for the bag after I called and asked them to do so to prevent this issue for other's hoping to get the flag pole stand WITH A BAG.Hope this helps!!!!

Works great and looks good. Quick release is awesome convenience. I leave the flag pole in it for storage.If you are thinking about using it for a car club meet, race, or show; It is perfect!

When setting up check how much your flag pole can move. It it can touch ur car body u run the risk of a scratched fender if the wind comes at the right (wrong) direction. Unlike the pipes that screw in this uses a push in pin. Makes for quick set up and tear down and don't get stuck like others screw types but it does rattle loudly in a light breeze. Solution is to use the felt tape on three sides of pipe to eliminate the tapping sound if ur camping/sleeping right next to it.

My boys love it when we break out the flag poles for a good old fashioned tailgate. The fellas at camp like it when the pirate flag comes out for the weekend...quality product. Been using mine for several years now and it is holding up well. Been in some pretty high winds and there is no sign of warping or bending in the metal.

Overall okay.The base and the vertical pipe are too loose and it rattles up a storm. I plan on using some sort of filler or just weld it in place.The flat plate at the bottom can flex so if you have a very windy day, you will get some leaning on your flag.The "bumper" is NOT rubber as it should be but rather just a pc of cheap pipe insulation foam, the type you see on your water pipes outside . Cant reuse it, not even once as its original intent it to leave it in place and the adhesive gives way. I plan on using a longer pc of foam on the first few feet of my pole for a proper fix.

Seems strong and easy to use

I liked this flag pole holder enough to not want to look for another. I had to make some modifications so it would fit our pole, but I'm hoping to replace the pole this summer. Also, we are using it under the tongue jack on our trailer rather than under a tire, and it works very well, no movement at all. It was out all of last summer and has held up perfectly, no wear or weathering showing at all and it was a very wet summer!
