I’m sorry I really tried with this book. I’m ashamed a woman wrote this book for other women to read. She lost me by Chapter 1 when wives are instructed to keep the pantry full so your husband is never without food. Seriously? My husband enjoys grocery shopping more than I do and it’s a God given strength. My husband also does 90% of the cooking. Not because he’s unGodly or I am. It’s a preference and a strength. This poor woman is very misguided. I pray the women who read this book take it with a grain of salt. Keep exploring other Christian books. My hope this isn’t the only book some women will pick up. Shame on Stormie for using a platform to ill advise on issues in 2019.

Highly recommend. Myself and 2 other women I know are working through this book, and seeing 1st hand the power of praying for your husband. Topics I never thought of praying for are now being covered in prayer. You can work through the study guide on your own (without a group) and personalize prayers for your specific situation( love this!). Chapter 1 is the hardest, as author warns in the book, because it starts with "change Me, Lord". If you see a negative review, it is probably because the reader could not get past that 1st prayer. Buying 2 more books and study guides for Christmas gifts.
