They don’t take up a lot of room and definitely heat resistant. Just used them once, so far. I’ll let you know more, if there is anything new. Well one good thing to know, you don’t have to keep throwing your pot holders in the washer. Second thing, containers don’t slip out of your hands.This is an update: these suckers do get hot. I tried taking something out of my toaster oven and it was too hot to handle. Had to get out my oven mitt.

I just got them they seem perfect just as thick as ones i get from target i normally buy just concerned i got a email from the seller saying “ Highly recommend nest within each other for use for removing hot pots, pans, plates, bowl and trays and more from microwave or oven.” which was not in the listing so essential i have 2 oven mitts not 4 but thats not a big deal gave them a test under some hot water seemed very well doubled and not doubled~EDIT UPDATE - it was not showen in the listing photos but it was in the writing of the listing but i had to go back and double look once i got the email cus the photos stuck out in my mind was the photos but it what it is they work

I was tired of struggling with tongs when removing extremely hot canning jars as they often slipped and the boiling water risked scalding me as the jars landed back into the pot. At first I was leery of these gloves as I was informed to wear 2 of them at once on one hand. No problem there, as they were still flexible and I was able to manipulate them. These gloves are just the thing to keep the jars from slipping from my grasp. I couldn't even feel the boiling water on my fingers. The only reason I gave them 4 and not 5 stars is that they could be a bit longer to cover a bit more of my hand to avoid any scalding from splashes. But they work so much better than the canning tongs! 8/14/2021 Update: I just discovered another great use for these silicone mits that made me change my 4 star rating to a 5 star rating. The are great for picking up scalding hot lasagna noodles after you strain them from the pot. Ususally you have to wait for them to cool down before you can handle them but then you run the risk of your noodles sticking together and tearing when you try to peel them apart. With these mits, you can handle the scalding noodles with no issue and lay your noodles out flat on the counter to cool. Wonderful! No more broken noodles and scalded fingers!

Always hated how gross regular oven mitts would get (y'all know you don't wash them!). These are easy to wash, even every part of the inside. Make sure you double up if you need to hold something hot longer than to just move it out of the oven. And be warned that your knuckles are still exposed.I just need one most of the time, so I keep it on my oven door handle and it stays put without a hook. So dang convenient.

These mitts fit nice, and easy to clean. But I took a pan out of the oven and practically burned my hand. I had the pan in my hand for 4 seconds and my hand was burning. When I took off the mitt the rubber was so hot I could not touch it. I have had other rubber mitts that work great, save your money unless you just want them for lifting pots off the stove.

I bought these for use with a multipot, and they work great for that. They are the perfect size to grab the hot inner pot and remove it. There is no slippage, and, as you would expect, no warmth comes through. Just perfect for the job. I have not used them for other tasks, but based on their performance, I would confidently use them for other tasks. Plus, these things are super cute, and remind me a bit of puppets, which is kind of cool. If they came with a set of googly eyes, they would make a great kid's toy as well, without losing any of the great functionality :)

These little oven mitts filled a need for us.We love our air fryer (the Instant Pot style with two pull-out racks) but it was very difficult to get the hot food out of the oven using traditional oven mitts, which were too big to fit in between racks.Attempts usually ended with either burned fingers, or food all over the floor, or both.These mini mitts are thin enough to fit easily between racks, and though they are quite small, fit the hands of all members of the household.They’re not slippery, like other silicone mitts I’ve used, which is great.FYI: They don’t fit over the whole hand — just the fingers and thumb — so they might not be as useful for grabbing things out of a full-sized oven.

This is not a compensated comment. Verified purchase. These mitts could become the product of the year, with some modifications. They are too thin, if you grab how stuff for a longer time than needed you will get burn. I solved this by using 2 one inside the other, and that works better a little clunky but I can hold a hot pot or basket with no worries. they could also be longer, some people got longer fingers. Price is fair. I would recommend this product.
