I love this ironing accessory! I bought this because after I read on a sewing blog that it's one of those "must have" accessories. I'd never even heard of it before and had always just used a ruler to mark fabric and then fold. I'd seen some blogs in which people suggest marking a thin piece of cardboard or paper with hem lines. I worried that I would get ink on my iron and fabric if I did that...and paper shrivels and falls apart under a steam iron. So when I found this, I was stoked to try it.I love that I can iron right over it or I can measure and move along. It stays in great shape under my very hot steam iron.My only wish now is that I had a longer one!

Pros:- easy to use- great hemming tool- has a ruler- makes ironing much easierCons:- easily bent- not enough tick marks on the rulerThe concept of this hot press ruler is absolutely great. The hot ruler press makes it really easy to be sure your hem is even all the way around. It gets warm and even flexes with the heat from the iron. This hot ruler press makes everything so much easier to line up and get perfect which is great for your normal seamstress. My only complaint is that i wish the material the hot ruler press was made from was just a little sturdier. The price of this is really exactly what it is worth I would even venture to say they could charge a little more and it would still be one hundred percent worth every single tiny penny you spend on it. I will definitely put this not only on my must have list for all new sewers but also recommend it to every single one of my friends who ever have any interest in sewing not only quilts but also clothing. I am also in several groups in Facebook that have to do with sewing and I will be sharing this item there for sure I may even purchase the smaller companion version. Overall this hot press ruler is a great addition to every seamstress's sewing room not just new sewers but experienced ones alike and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who sews.

Blue markings transferred to the white t-shirt I was hemming. It remains to be seen whether it washes out. Otherwise, I like that the fabric somewhat sticks to it, but that also makes it more difficult to slide the ruler for slight adjustments. All in all, not thrilled with this product.

This is a must buy for any quilter or seamstress. When I received it, I wondered if I had wasted my money. No, I did not. After my first use, I will not do without it. I recommend this to everyone who sews.

Get it Its a time saver. I keep mine by my ironing board. When it came I thought this is a waste of money but when I used it instantly realized it was a time saver and will make your hem even. I used for hem on dress and making bias tape. will be great for quilting.

This works great for folding over that quarter inch when doing applique work. It helps to have much more accuracy with the folding and keeping shapes the right size !!

This item is a wonderful aid for pressing up hems and other finishing details. I would have given it 5 stars if it was at least 3.5 inches high. It takes the place of metal guides that get too hot to handle and very wet when steam is used. Also, replaces tag board strips cut for the same purpose & which warp with the heat & moisture used.

I also have the hot hemmer, and they both work great, wouldn't be with out them when I need to measure a hem and press it at the same time. Great tool to have in your sewing room. Definitely recommend.

just received and well before the expected arrival date. I know that it will be great to use and at present I have to fold the material and then take a rule to it before pressing. So will be a great asset.
