Ramayana For Children

Originality lost due to biases of the author
Horrible translation of Ramayana. Misinterpreted and full of errors

Three Stars
Being a kids book, expected it to be more illustrative...loads of text not enough pictures:)

Go Beyond Amar Chitra Katha
Take Them Beyond Amar Chitra KathaThe book is excellent. Someone who has attended The University of Chicago is bound to write well. This is a good introduction if children have crossed the stage of reading graphic books like Amar Chitra Katha.Of all things, the illustrations are wonderful, too. See the pictures.

Boring, poorly illustrated
Very lengthy and very uninterestingly written from the aspect of children ! Didactic like course books and very poorly, scantily illustrated ! My kids who are otherwise avid readers, found it hugely boring!

A splendid book to cherish for children
Loved the book - Arshia Sattars retelling of the epic is simple, but has a gripping narrative and pace, peppered with some stunning illustrations by Sonali Zohra. Children cannot have a better handy book as an introduction into this great epic.

Well written
My eight year old enjoyed reading it. The illustrations are good, if very westernized.
