Rating: 4.5 out of 5 -- preliminary evaluation It's really hard to evaluate any watch after owning it for only a few days because we want to know whether it will keep time over the weeks or months and how well it will stand up over the years. So this initial review will not deal with those aspects since I've only had and worn the watch for two days so far. It's a gorgeous looking timepiece and it's a more traditional size than the latest huge clocks people are putting on their wrists at the moment. The bracelet is also a two-toned design that's subdued and at the same time eye catching. With its silvery grey face and gold edged white hands the watch looks classy while still being easy to read. It has a day and date feature as a bonus in a day when most watches seem to have the date only. It just so happened that the bracelet fit my wrist perfectly out of the box and that's a good thing because I could see no way of adjusting anything short of taking out a link. I think I prefer a different design for the clasp so that there are a few extra holes to allow for slight resizing. The bracelet also does not lie flat. It has very limited movement between the links so if your wrist doesn't match the built in curvature of the bracelet this watch might not be for you. I'll revisit this review after a bit of time and will add or delete comments after I've used the watch for a bit longer. But, I'm hard pressed to find a better deal in watches on Amazon.ca. This is a beautiful watch with a beautiful bracelet at an excellent price and if it stands up over time I'll definitely revise my rating to a full 5 stars.

The watch is OK, a bit heavier and chinkier than I expected. The luminous hands and dial are NOT luminous. According to Amazon I thought that I was getting a great deal on this watch. I was a bit disappointed when I found it in Walmart for a little more. You need to check and know your prices.
