Overdose of introspection
Once again I'm in the minority here and I just don't get all the 5 star reviews. This book was a real snoozer. It started out okay -- though even the H/h meeting felt a bit contrived -- and quickly went downhill in subplots which had no relevance to the main romance, and endless (and I do mean endless) introspection on the part of the hero and the heroine and even some of the sub-characters. I ended up not caring about any of these people at all and had to skim over a lot to get to the end. There was so much in this book that one just didn't care about that I just cannot recommend this story.

Fantastic start to the new series!
I loved it! Donna Kauffman is one of my favorite authors and she doesn't disappoint this time. The problem I had this time is, do you read the book in a day (because it is that good), or do you force yourself to take breaks to make the book last longer. I tried to take breaks, I tried to pace myself, but ultimately the book won. It was fantastic!I adore book series, I love not having to learn a whole new town, new faces, new geography. It felt good to be back in town, yes there are new faces, yes we meet people that were only talked about in previous books, but when you open the book it feels like you are home. Every time I opened Sea Glass Sunrise, it was like sinking into my favorite chair wearing my comfy clothes. It just felt right.I know that I stress the comfort of returning to a place that I already feel like I know and love, but this is the first book in a new series, give it a try. If you do like it, you have the pleasure of reading all the previous books.

Couldn't put it down
I truly enjoy Donna Kauffman's books. They engage you right from the beginning and I wish I had more time to read so that I would not have to read her books in spirts. This book is a great continuation of the Bride of Blueberry Cove. I can't wait to read the next one.

You can go home again. Small town love.
Donna Kauffman has done it again. Hannah McCrae heads home for her brothers wedding. She brings with her "life baggage"" . She is not looking for love. She is looking to fix her life. She finds all she needs in this loved filled town. Wonderful story with some mystery mixed in. Even if you have not read any of her other books. You can start with this one. Then you will want to read the others. Fall in love with the Maine coastal town. By the end of the book. You will want to move there.

A very good story
I really enjoyed this story dealing in part with ages old discord of two family group. We also got to enjoy the heroics of Calder Blue. A very captivating story of three sisters coming together for their brother's wedding. The ending came out the way it should, all happy. Great family caring for each other.
