Cyberpower CP-H420P USB Hub, 4-Port, USB 2.0, 480Mbps, 1.1/2.0 Compatible, PC/MAC PlugNPlay

I have a G510 Keyboard, G700 Mouse and G930 Headphones all plugged into this hub, all of which require a significant amount of power to charge/work. With the AC adapter on this hub I have no problems using all three devices at once at nominal efficiency.Hub works right out of the box, the blue LED to indicate the device is ready is NOT as distracting as some people have made it out to be (unless you tape the hub to your monitor), and there are 4 additional green LEDs which come on when devices are connected.

I was surprised to find this excellent powered USB hub for much less money than I paid for an identicel one over three years ago. Somehow, we misplaced the power adapter so I ordered this one mainly so I could get the power adapter. The older hub still works fine so I just use the adapter so I can run USB 3.0 Hard Drives with a TV Android mini-pc. My grandson wanted the hub for his his Playstation 3 slim, which sees a lot of use. He uses it for video gaming and for a multi-media center. He accidently damaged one of the two USB ports and he was limited by having only one USB port.I gave him this hub. He is so happy with it his friends want one!

This USB hub didn't function as hoped. I usually plugged my USB network adapter into it. It would lose the connection frequently. One day, my computer completely stopped recognizing my USB network adapter. It was only when I went back and did a restore point on my computer that the network adapter worked again. It's been a long time since I used the restore point on my computer, and I haven't had a single problem with my network adapter since then; I also haven't plugged in this hub. My only conclusion is that it was the hub causing all the malfunctions. Avoid this item unless you want problems.

I returned this hub because several of the ports refused to work. I went with one from Tripp and am very happy with it.

This hub works as advertised. It's a bit awkward having to plug two usb cords into each side. But the most annoying thing is - it lights up. The bright blue glow is very distracting when you're trying to watch tv, read, or sleep in the same room as your computer. I can't figure any way to turn off the light (besides unplugging it).

This unit was purchased because the iMac does not have a lot of USB ports so a hub was needed. The unit had great reviews and had a good price. It was also a popular selling item in the USB hub category. I am pleased with it, and it works fine as well as meets my needs.

I had one of these, moved and left it behind accidentally. I bought another one to replace the one i left.What is so good about this one, is that it has it's own 110 power source, so it's not powered totally on your computer USB power. If any of you have a Magic Jack, this is a MUST!You don't have to plug the MJ into your PC USB anymore, and the phone quality improves 100 percent!! 4 ports, along with power lights that look nice.Hard to find in local stores, because it's sold out very quickly. It does cost more here, but it's worth every penny..:)

While other usb hubs may offer more ports this little self powered hub allows for more devices to work when plugged in over the hubs that rely on the power from the usb port only which has it's obvious limits! For one if you plug in the wrong thing or simply one too many the external pc port will be drawn down.The self powered hub however maintains the current level across all four ports when having multiple devices plugged.in. The one vulnerability found so far with only one out of four was when one side or two ports no longer worked when charging a cell phone by way of usb instead of the ac plug. Too much of a draw where repeat charging weakened the hub. The other two ports still work however.
