Mine is 11" square, 27" tall, and 3" clearance from the floor for space underneath. I have no idea what they were measuring!

Q: What metal is the drip pan made of, Aluminum? Is it rust proof? Is the drip pan removable?

The drip pan is a galvanized metal, so rust resistant. I use mine to hold big golf umbrellas for walking my dog. It has been wet, very often, and there is no rust. Yes, the drip pan is removable. I love the looks and function of the stand.
