decent quality red switch mechanical keyboard
The keyboard is of good quality and it looks like it will be easy to swap out the switches on this later on after the keyboard has seen a lot of usage. My one wish would have been to be able to select solid color themes for the keyboard as the multiple colors is a bit distracting. I wound up just turning the LEDs off I would have liked to have been able to buy this exact same keyboard but in black instead of white for the same price I paid for this one. I like the build quality, and I will add this manufacturer to my list of ones to buy in the future for other computers at my office.

Getting accurate typing and no misses.
Well, this is definitely, better than the Red Dragon that I had previously. The Dragon's key presses were not registering properly causing many missed strokes, and rip-outs of repeated strokes. But the Dragon was less noisy than this. This backspace key on the Royal lets you know when you touch that key. It is nice not backing up too far and I know when I am touching it with all the clacking. The Royal is clickier on the qwerty keys and clackier on the BS key compared to the Dragon. I have a feeling these are thin cheap plastic key covers. They feel flimsy compared to the Red Dragons' smooth, sturdy feel. My typing speed seems to have slowed down 9wpm with the Royal, compared to the Dragon. That's crazy... Something I will need to work on. Dragon was cherry red buttons. Royal is brown tactile. I am just using it for the first half hour out of the box. I do like it. I liked the Dragon as well but, that had a glitch. The lighting: I left it as it was out of the box. I like a well-lit board, and it is. I can feel the keys bottom out like the shocks need replacing on the Royal, there is no bottoming out on the Dragon. But, the Royal doesn't take off like a shot out a haney leaving skid marks of repeated keystrokes. I will stay with this one for a while. I need to research some other gameheads out there and see how they feel about the blue. I think those reds would do better in gaming situations, they are fast and "smoooooth". I shelled out much less dough for the Royal and its name lives on like the Mona Lisa... But, that backspace key lets you know when you touch it. Hair raising Plastic clack, clack, clack. I suppose I will be searching for some double-shot keys or o-rings to quiet that baby down. Jeesh maybe now I will make fewer mistakes in fear of having to hear it. So, I am not unhappy with the purchase. I just want a great full-sized well built typing keyboard, and the Royal is. This is much noisier compared to the Red Dragon and I just won't tell you that again.

Great budget mechanical keyboard
Got this as a workstation keyboard. I have another variation that I use for gaming at home, but it is great for everyday use. The colors are nice and vibrant, and work well in the software. Hot swappable so I can replace with other switches I have. Love it so far!

Awesome Keyboard
Ended up buying it thinking it had RGB instead of simply rainbow set lights. That was my mistake, and I'm absolutely kicking myself for it because the keyboard is absolutely AWESOME to use.The keys felt so high quality, the brown switches were such a pleasant sound, and I wish the rainbow lights matched my current set up because they were absolutely beautiful. The app to set them up with has SO many settings, and you can even control the brightness.Wonderful keyboard, bummed that it didn't match my set up, but its going to be perfect for someone else!

Best Board for your Buck
The media could not be loaded. If youâre just getting into mechanical keyboards and you donât mind the wired USB-A connection, you canât go wrong this keeb. Love the tactile brown switches and the RGB lighting is awesome. I used to have a compact wireless RK61, but this board feels much better for daily work/school purposes. Compact boards are great for travel but I wouldnât pick anything else for my home desk than this keyboard. Excellent value purchase. If youâre on the fence about buying it, do it!
