SCCQG3229 Quik Grip Wide Base DH Light Truck Tire Traction Chain - Set of 2

I ordered these chains for 2016 F350 with 275/65R20 KO2 tires. They fit perfectly with two links hanging. Drove forward and backwards on road to ensure they would stay snug. Perfect. Economical and good quality. Going to purchase another set for my front tires.

For the money, i was expecting a lighter quality. These are very good quality. Hope I never have to need them 😝

These fix my original tire 275/70-18 and new 295/70-18. Work great

Bought these for 2021 F150 with 275/60/20r standard rims & tires on an XL.They’re a bit loose, but I also bought some tensioner straps and they seem fine. I probably could’ve gone a size down because when you do all the cams up, there’s still a bit of slop. You end up hooking on to 2 chain links ahead in order to get better tension.Not tried in snow, will update once I have.

Bought these for my truck doubt I’ll need them but I got them, it’s required in California mountain areas for my 285/75/17s well

Knowing I’d be doing more winter camping, I wisely invested in a set of snow chains. These worked great! I have axle lockers front and rear and good snow tires, but got nowhere. Put on the chains, and was able to maneuver in very slippery snow.Pros: VERY SOLIDCons: VERY HEAVY, rough ride on anything solid. These are large, heavy, thick, strong chains

The ‘user guide’ listed 275/55R20 as a compatible tire size for this chain model (QG3229). While I was able to install the chain successfully without any slag, there is an excess chain at the end without any mechanisms to secure it to the tire. So as the car surpasses a certain speed (~20 mph) the loose end starts to hit the car body stripping the paint.Since the build quality is good if you really want to give it a try. I suggest bringing some zip ties with you to secure the excess chains.Good luck!

Yes, they are not galvanized and rust. That's why they are cheaper than the plated variety.I'll pass on an old boat owner's tip. We have the same problem with anchor chains. Go to a boater's supply store and get some "cathodic protection zinc's." Little zinc metal bars you attach to your propeller shaft, stern drive unit or anything else steel which is in frequent contact with water. Available from about 1 to 80 pounds. Toss a couple of pounds worth in with each chain wherever you store it. It won't complete stop the rust but will slow it down.And if you have access to a beach simply attaching the chains -- one at a time!! -- to your trailer hitch and dragging them a mile or so down the beach will get rid of most of the rust. For a while.

I bought these as all the resources I found said they would fit 275/55R20 - they definitely DO NOT FIT. I can get them on but even on the tightest setting, they are still loose. I can use bungees to tighten the chain more but what's the point when you bought chains with cams to avoid that. I have brand new BFG KO2s. The cam on the other set was attached backwards which made that chain defective. Pictures are attached. I felt the overall quality of the chains are good and I would buy again if they actually fit my tires. They also rusted after the first use, but I guess that's to be expected.

These work well and were easy enough to put on and off. I would suggest getting some rubber bunjee straps to make sure these are snug as they can be a little on the loose side.
