The pillow fits my recliner well and is much more comfortable since it doesn't seem to pack down like regular pillows. A thinner person might find it more firm than they like.

A combination of very high grade foam and a fantastic technology of liquid cell suspension it supports and cushions all at the same time. During the winter I am often driving three hours at a time one way then making the return trip a day later. If your seat is not comfortable for three hours you know it. The Ergo21 original cushion made my rides an absolute pleasure. The cushioning and support is absolutely superior. Then. add the fact that the two inch cushion has a gentle taper that levels out the height of your bottom and knees created by most car seats and certainly by bucket seats. When your bottom is below your knees it can create back and posture issues that are exacerbated the longer you drive in that position. The Ergo21 addressed all the issues I was concerned with at a level of quality and efficacy I had not even imagined. Add to that the incredible responsiveness of the company and the owner and designer Steve Gambhir and you have a very high quality and effective product with amazing customer support. I was so curious as to the liquid cell technology and overall effectiveness and quality of the product that I called and Steve was only too happy to delve in to the technology as well as the application and effectiveness of all the Ergo21 products. This is a unicorn people, a very high quality product thoughtfully designed and old fashioned customer service at the very highest level.

My 93 year old Mum lives with me and due to inactivity and sitting almost all the time and sleeping in bed she got some very severe wounds on her buttocks. As they were open and bleeding we had to have nurses come into our home two or three times a week to check the condition of these wounds as well as to change the dressings. One of our biggest problems was providing a seat that had enough cushion to it to protect her skin. I went on Amazon and the Ergo Liquicell cushions stood out for me and I ordered one. From the moment we started to use it the healing began. Within weeks her skin had totally healed and the circulation had totally returned. I also ordered another cushion from Ergo Liquicell that was square. It covered her whole chair and worked well as she moved around a lot. The physiotherapist that were sent to the home brought different cushions that needed to be pumped up with air but had to be checked each week to make sure it was right. When I showed her the new Ergo Liquicell cushion she said it would not work and took her cushion away. I have told everyone I come in contact with, both other caregivers, and professionals in the field about these cushions. I use the other cushion daily and have great circulation. You can't get anything better. Thank you Steve! This product should go big! Amazon is smart to carry it. They are ahead of the rest of the pack. I purchased this item in April, 2018 as I had been experiencing buttock pain for years and it was getting to the point where I couldn't sit to watch t.v. or on a chair to work on my computer. The physio treatments and exercises weren't helping much either so I decided to order this gel cushion. Upon receipt, I immediately felt relief from pain! I wouldn't go anywhere without it (not even on an airplane)! You can imagine how I felt when my pain was returning. I examined the cushion and noticed that the material underneath the top had bunched up. I sent an email to the company regarding this issue. One hour later, the manufacturer of the product from Ergo 21, Steve Gambir contacted me (this was on Sunday! He asked me to send him a picture of the cushion rather than sending the product back so I could save the postage! I texted him a photo and he immediately contacted me back to say he was sending a new cushion at no charge!! I hope this review helps with your pain relief as it has for me. My physiotherapist was also impressed and is spreading the word to anyone who would benefit from this amazing product!

The recent flare-up of a chronic illness has made it impossible for me to leave the house. In an attempt to ease the discomfort in my sacrum from the pressure of lying or sitting down, I move from the bed to an upholstered chair to a leather Lazy Boy recliner to the couch. After a week or so of this, I realized I needed a seat cushion.As is my custom, I diligently read the Customer Reviews on a number of foam seat cushions, paying special attention to the ones with a slit or opening for the coccyx. Over the years, I'd tried numerous solid foam cushions on the "executive-style" chair I use for my computer. I even tried a wheelchair cushion I purchased at a local medical supply company. ALL of them turned out to be quite uncomfortable after sitting on them for any length of time.Enter the Ergo21 Liquicell Original Seat Cushion!! The thinness of the cushion flew in the face of common sense, but the use of GEL instead of FOAM intrigued me. I don't know HOW the Ergo21 seat cushion works. All I know is that it DOES! Blessedly...MIRACULOUSLY...it COMPLETELY did away with the CONSTANT pain in my spine. It doesn't matter how long I use it...the support and relief is CONSTANT!! It's a far cry from all of the other foam seat cushions I'd used over the years.I IMMEDIATELY ordered a second cushion so I didn't have to keep dragging the first one from chair to chair. Then, I hit upon the idea of using it under my hips while lying in bed. It was thin enough to provide support without pushing my lumbar region through the roof like the foam cushions would have. Once again, the Ergo21 delivered, COMPLETELY eradicating the pain in my coccyx created by lying in bed. I own a very nice pillow top mattress with an "egg crate style" memory foam mattress topper on it for additional support and comfort. This combination was sufficient until I started spending more and more time in bed.Positioning a seat cushion perfectly under my hips proved to be QUITE challenging. So I went to the Ergo21 website, hoping to find a mattress topper specifically designed for lying on. Something larger I wouldn't have to "wiggle, shake and shimmy" into place. Steve Gambhir, creator of the Liquicell Original Seat Cushion, was one step ahead of me! To date, an 18" x 36" "mattress overlay" is available with a 36" x 36" square overlay in production at this time.A word about Ergo21's legendary customer service. Steve called me personally because the larger overlay I'd ordered isn't available at this time. He offered to send me TWO of the 18" x 36" mats for the price of the larger one!!! PLUS, I'd still receive the FREE Original Seat Cushion included with the purchase of a mattress overlay. He was TRULY concerned for my well-being and comfort...not just interested in making a sale. Considering how much relief I've already received from finagling with the 18" x 16" seat cushion, I gladly would've gone with the smaller overlay for the lesser price. I didn't want to wait another MINUTE for my mattress topper to ship!!!Steve informed me via email this morning that he'd shipped the two promised mattress overlays and free seat cushion out immediately after our conversation. And, he said he'd pray for me...a speedy return to health. Talk about "going the extra mile"!!Although I haven't received the toppers yet, there's no doubt in my mind that they will be as equally as supportive as the seat cushions. Only without all of the adjustments. Deciding whether to place both under my hips or one under my hips and the other under my shoulders will be the only thing I "wrestle" with. Haha!! And, my husband, lucky man, gets the free mattress cushion for HIS uncomfortable leather recliner.P.S. Thanks for everything, Steve!!!!!!!!
