Usborne Easter Story

present for small boy not being taught religion at infant school whose mother wanted him to know a bit more about Chistianity

Nice illustrations but the story is missing a lot of important information, I had to fill myself the gaps and was not easy task. A bit disappointed of Usborne, that usually has very valuable books.

A bit bland. I don’t think my kids understand the point of the ending. Jesus dies and come back to life, Mary Magdalene goes and tells the disciples. Well, why did that happen? What did it mean? We don’t know from this book.

Very gentle story telling and two types of text for easier and harder reading.

I bought this for my friend's children. They both love it, the older child can read it to the younger one. My friend thought it was an excellent Easter present.
