This light works as advertised, but the button at the top can be annoying. A few times I thought I turned it off, and it is blinking at me. You have to tap it several times to go from dim to bright and through all the modes. It is a nice size to give you good light though.I keep it plugged in all the time because where I have it is right next to a special usb plug in our kitchen. I keep it in the kitchen because it us for my pets to get water or food at night, rather than for a child’s room. If you don’t have a USB port, you will need to buy a plug separately.
